  • Patent number: 10776746
Abstract: A system for tracing a plurality of items considering an interface configured to receive an event data record including operation information indicating an operation, time information indicating a time when the operation occurred, and identification information identifying at least one item, a data store configured to store state information indicating one or more states for each one of the plurality of items, and a processing unit configured to receive via the interface one event data record.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 10175032
Abstract: A personal protection apparatus includes a wearable covering, a reservoir supported on the wearable covering and containing a sprayable fluid and includes a valve operable to control the flow of fluid from the reservoir. The apparatus further includes a circuit having a force-sensing resistor for actuating the valve. The force-sensing resistor is disposed on a thumb covering and is activated under pressure when the wearer's thumb is positioned between the index finger and middle finger. Pressure on the force-sensing resistor decreased its resistance in the circuit. With the resistance lowered, current is allowed to flow and a power supply powers a servomotor coupled to a cam that opens a valve to allow fluid to be sprayed.

  • Patent number: 9182198
Abstract: A personal protection apparatus includes a glove; a reservoir supported on the glove, and housing a sprayable repellant therein; a valve electrically operable to control the flow of fluid from the reservoir into a delivery tube; and a switch for actuating the valve. The switch includes contacts on thumb and index finger portions of the glove so as to close the switch and activate the spray of repellant when the thumb is positioned between the index finger and middle finger.

  • Publication number: 20140358803
Abstract: A referral management system can provide functionality of tracking referrals for professionals. The referral management system may, for instance, enable users to send and receive referrals. In certain embodiments, the referral management system may also enable users to track the status of sent and received cases. In other embodiments, the referral management system may enable users associated with the case to communicate with each other. The referral management system can also generate reports and derive data for suggestion to users.

  • Patent number: 8559782
Abstract: A conductor assembly, a conductor spacer and an associated method for separating conductors are provided in order to secure conductors to one another and/or to an underlying platform. A conductor assembly includes a spacer body having a prismatic solid shape, first and second conductors that extend alongside the spacer body and first and second ties for securing the conductors to the spacer body. The spacer body includes a pair of end faces and a plurality of side faces extending between the end faces. The spacer body also defines an internal cavity that is accessible via openings defined by the end faces and at least two of the side faces. The spacer body is configured to provide different spacings between the conductors when the ties extend through different ones of the openings.

  • Publication number: 20040163154
Abstract: A jacket for a person engaged in a pitching activity is described herein for retaining warmth in the arm and upper extremity muscles used in pitching. It is desirable for pitchers to retain warmth in the favored arm and upper extremity muscles, in order that these muscles remain loose and flexible to prevent cramping and tightening. The jacket includes a sleeve and upper extremity portion proximate the sleeve for the pitching arm, while the non-pitching arm and the associated upper extremity portion are not covered by the jacket. The jacket includes a portion covering the upper extremity of the back that surrounds the body and helps maintain the position of the jacket during activity. A fastener element is provided to permit the jacket to be engaged and separated from the wearer. The jacket provides coverage and warmth without restricting motion and, therefore, is designed to allow freedom of movement for the athlete while actively engaged in activity or when idle awaiting return to play.
