  • Publication number: 20240031802
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems are described for deriving secured keys and authenticating based on the derived keys. An entity may receive one or more derived keys and one or more key derivation algorithms associated with the one or more derived keys. A user device may derive, based on a key associated with the user device and unknown to the entity, a user key. The entity may derive, based on a first derived key and one of the key derivation algorithms, a second derived key, and may verify, based on the second derived key, the user key.

  • Patent number: 10341125
Abstract: To this end a cable is provided for tandem communication and power transmission. The cable has a plurality of twisted pair conductors, a jacket surrounding said twisted pair conductors, and at least one active cooling element. The at least one active cooling element is configured to provide a thermoelectric cooling effect to the cable when one or more of said plurality of twisted pairs are employed to transfer electrical power in a power over Ethernet application.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 29, 2016
Date of Patent: July 2, 2019
    Assignee: NEXANS

  • Patent number: 9767939
Abstract: A communication cable has a plurality of twisted pair communication elements, a jacket surrounding the twisted pairs and a shield element disposed between the pairs and the jacket. The shield element is constructed as a tape substrate with a plurality of foil shielding elements disposed thereon, the foil shielding elements are formed as at least two longitudinally running strips separated by a horizontal gap. Each of the two longitudinally running strips are further separated periodically with vertical gaps disposed at varied locations with respect to the adjacent longitudinally running strip.

  • Patent number: 9125784
Abstract: An arm positioning cushion for locating and supporting an arm of a patient above a base surface and in an orientation suitable for vascular radial access procedures. The arm positioning cushion includes a forearm support having a fingers contact surface at a first height above the base surface, an upwardly-curved wrist contact surface having an centerline apex at a second height above the base surface, and a first coupling portion. The arm positioning cushion also includes an elbow support having an elbow contact surface at a third height of the base surface, and a second coupling portion configured for linear-adjustable engagement with the first coupling portion to adjustably couple the forearm support to the elbow support. The third height is greater than the first height and less than the second height. In one aspect, the forearm support and elbow support may comprise a substantially homogeneous cushion material throughout.
