Abstract: A piston pressurized water filter activated by the user or external source. The water filter assembly includes a hollow cylindrical water reservoir, a hollow cylindrical piston threaded into the top of the water reservoir, and a water filter threaded into the bottom of the water reservoir. The interior of the water reservoir is sealed by the piston and water filter. When the water reservoir is filled with unfiltered water, the piston can be threaded down into the water reservoir to create sufficient pressure on the unfiltered water and force the water into the water filter. The water filter can include any combination of carbon, ceramic or other filtering material in a block or disk form. Water is forced into the water filter, through the carbon or ceramic filter mass, and into a container that may or may not be coupled to the water filter.

Abstract: A method of obtaining demographic information relating to the use of a distributable skin, the method including the steps of establishing a demographic data store, retrieving an array of demographic information responsive to the registration of a skinable client-side application, storing the array in the data store, responsive to a use of the skin on the application, establishing a data connection between the data store and the application, and updating the array to reflect the use of the skin.

Abstract: A method of displaying graphic user interface layouts including the steps of accessing a data repository storing an instruction set for constructing a graphic user interface layout through a network connection, rendering the graphic user interface layout associated with the instruction set and reducing the graphic user interface layout to a bitmap image. Once the graphics and text are laid out, the screen display is reduced to a bitmap image and associated with a uniform resource locator string. When a search query that retrieves the uniform resource locator string, the bitmap image and the uniform resource locator string are displayed to the end-user. As an alternative to displaying the actual text of the resource locator string, it may be embedded as an image hyperlink.
