The system includes a memory having computer-executable instructions and at least one processor to execute the computer-executable instructions to wirelessly connect the exercise device, receive a training mode, receive at least one variable for determining a power set point, determine the power set point responsive to the training mode and the at least one variable and control a magnetic brake assembly in the exercise device responsive to the power set point.

Abstract: An activity monitoring device (AMD) wearable on the torso of a user. The AMD including functional components such as an accelerometer, a processor, on-board data memory, a wireless transmitter and electrodes for detecting heart rate. The functional components configured to collect data in order to provide heart rate information, running speed, ground contact time, vertical oscillation, cycling cadence, riding positions (standing or seated) and other functions. The device may be accessed and controlled by way of the wireless connection. The device and/or functions thereof may also be controlled through accurate user tap detection. The device may further store and transmit information relevant to various functions for remote storage or display.

Abstract: A fitness computer system and method are provided herein. The method includes wirelessly pairing a first computing device having a first processor and a first display with a second computing device having a second processor and a second display. A page definition file is parsed to determine static display data for a current display page index. The static display data is displayed and the current display page index is transmitted to the first computing device using an application programming interface (API). Dynamic display data associated with the current display page index is transmitted from the first computing device using the API and the dynamic display data for the current display page index is displayed.
