  • Publication number: 20190243867
Abstract: A demodulator for receiving signals modulated in emergent time, comprised of an exponential time warping input stage, an FFT to convert to the frequency domain, and an exponential time warping output stage to map the recovered modulation onto the causal time domain. Overlapped blocks are correlated by summing the warped outputs, providing selectivity and gain. Tuning is by means of matching the warp rate of emergent time. A modulator performs the reverse function.

  • Patent number: 9812927
Abstract: A self-contained electro-mechanical device incorporating a hand crank wound main spring mechanism coupled with gears to a rotating magnet inside an iron core with wound copper wire for the purpose of generating electricity. An external AC adaptor can use the generator as a motor to wind the main spring without the need to use the hand crank. An internal electronic circuit is connected to the motor/generator and mechanically coupled using a unique solenoid and clutch mechanism to prevent the main spring from turning until an external load is detected. When packaged in the form of two standard C or D size batteries this invention can be installed into devices currently using electro-chemical batteries. An internal LED light enables the device to be used as a self-contained flashlight. A mini USB connector is incorporated for charging cell phones and powering numerous devices compatible with USB power.

  • Patent number: 9681859
Abstract: A magnetic manipulation and navigation system for moving a magnetic element through a body comprising at least six electromagnets with soft-magnetic cores arranged in a predetermined position to the body. One or more of the electromagnets operate in the non-linear regime of the magnetization curve of the cores. At least one magnetic field sensor is at one or more predetermined positions outside of the operating region. In the linear region, no feedback is required to set the magnetic field strength. In the non-linear region, feedback from the magnetic field sensors is used for closed-loop control. The system has an open loop mode operation in the linear regime for fast control signals, for stabilization during displacement of the magnetic element, and a closed-loop operation in the non-linear regime for higher field strengths, to apply forces and moments on the magnetic element while it is in contact with a surface.

  • Publication number: 20160334950
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods of use directed to Boolean builders. More specifically, the disclosed invention relates to systems and methods of use directed to graphical Boolean dependency builder interfaces as part of business process flows. In embodiments, the disclosed systems are configured to provide an interface allowing a user of the system with little or no knowledge of programming to create complex Boolean expressions which are utilized in the system or software. The creation of the Boolean expressions are performed by the user dragging and dropping objects which are representative of data elements (operands) and operations (operators) as well as evaluation orders. In a further embodiment, the system is configured to allow the user of the system to utilize drop down menus and selection options to further create and modify the Boolean expressions. The created expressions may then be utilized as part of a business process flow to achieve the desired outputs or obtain the desired results.

  • Patent number: 8984261
Abstract: Embodiments relate to loading data in a pipelined microprocessor. An aspect includes issuing a load request that comprises a load address requiring at least one block of data the same size as a largest contiguous granularity of data returned from a cache. Another aspect includes determining that the load address matches at least one block address. Another aspect includes, based on determining that there is an address match, reading a data block from a buffer register and sending the data to satisfy the load request; comparing a unique set id of the data block to the set id of the matching address after sending the data block; based on determining that there is a set id match, continuing the load request, or, based on determining that there is not a set id match, setting a store-forwarding state of the matching address to no store-forwarding and rejecting the load request.

  • Patent number: 8830648
Abstract: A magnetic manipulation and navigation system for moving a magnetic element through a body comprising at least six electromagnets fixed in relation to said body and a control unit supplying the current for the electromagnets. The electromagnets have soft magnetic cores and the current supplied by the control unit to each of the electromagnets is adapted to operate the electromagnetic coils of each of the electromagnets in their core's linear regions being delimited by the value of the flux density of each electromagnet being in an interval between the negative and positive saturation value of each electromagnet, the lower representation showing the deviation due to the use of soft magnetic cores in all electromagnets.
