  • Patent number: 11095055
Abstract: Systems and method are described for a terminal block that can include an insulating block that is composed of an electrically insulating material. The insulating structure can have a first via extending between a first and second opening in the insulating block. A second via can extend between a third and fourth opening in the insulating block. A distance between the first and second openings may be less than a distance between the third and fourth openings. A first electrical conducting element can extend between the first and second openings. A second electrical conducting element can extend between the third and fourth openings. The first and second electrical conducting elements can be separated from one another by a portion of the insulating block.

  • Patent number: 9941036
Abstract: A resistor includes a first resistor element. The first resistor element is connected to at least a first electrical terminal and a second electrical terminal. The first resistor element is configured to directly contact cooling media on at least two surfaces of the first resistor element in order to transfer heat away from the first resistor element. The resistor may also include a second resistor element connected to at least the first electrical terminal and the second electrical terminal, where the second resistor element is configured to directly contact the cooling media on at least two surfaces of the second resistor element in order to transfer heat away from the second resistor element.

  • Patent number: 9730366
Abstract: An electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppressing shield is disclosed. The EMI suppressing shield can include a plurality of shield portions electrically coupled to a positive electric potential polarity or a negative electric potential polarity. At least some of the plurality of shield portions can be electrically isolated from one another. At least one of the plurality of shield portions can be electrically coupled to the positive electric potential and at least one of the plurality of shield portions can be electrically coupled to the negative electric potential.

  • Patent number: 9564266
Abstract: A power converter magnetics assembly is disclosed. The power converter magnetics assembly can include an interface panel, a magnetic component mounted to the interface panel to form a magnetics subassembly, and a chassis coupled to the magnetics subassembly. The chassis can have a cavity with an opening. The magnetic component can be received within the cavity and the interface panel can be disposed over the opening and secured to the chassis to form an enclosure about the magnetic component.

  • Patent number: 9349523
Abstract: A magnetic assembly to receive current having a high current and high frequency includes a transformer, at least one resonant inductor, and at least one auxiliary inductor. The resonant inductor is in electrical communication with the transformer, and the auxiliary inductor is in electrical communication with the resonant inductor. The magnetic assembly further includes at least one conductor having a first end coupled to the auxiliary inductor and a second end coupled to the transformer. The conductor extends continuously between the first and second ends without terminating to form an auxiliary winding of the auxiliary inductor, a resonant winding of the resonant inductor, and at least one primary winding of the transformer.
