  • Publication number: 20070272695
Abstract: A container comprising a first bowl nested within a second bowl. The first bowl includes a first opening and the second bowl includes a second opening. The first opening overlies the second opening to permit access to an interior storage space of the first bowl from an exterior of the container when the first and second bowls are in respective upright orientations. The first bowl may be rotated 180 degrees in every rotational direction relative to the second bowl while remaining nested within the second bowl.

  • Publication number: 20070267421
Abstract: A container includes a bowl having a bowl interior space for holding solid material and a bowl opening for accessing the interior space of the bowl from an exterior of the bowl. The container also includes a bowl support having a bowl support interior space within which the bowl is located and a bowl support opening for accessing the interior space of the bowl support from an exterior of the container. The bowl is biased toward an upright orientation of the bowl independent of the rotational orientation of the bowl support. The bowl support opening overlies the bowl opening when both the bowl and the bowl support are in respective upright orientations, and the bowl support covers the bowl openings when the bowl support is tilted.

  • Publication number: 20070267411
Abstract: A container includes a bowl support having a chamber with a chamber access opening dimensioned to permit access by hand to the chamber from an exterior of the container. The container also includes a bowl having an interior with an interior access opening dimensioned to permit access by hand to the interior of the bowl. The bowl is located within the chamber and is rotatable, relative to the bowl support. When the chamber access opening overlies the interior access opening, access therethrough by hand to the interior of the bowl from an exterior of the container is permitted. A wall of the chamber covers the interior access opening when the bowl is in an upright position and the bowl support is tilted relative to the bowl from an upright position.

  • Publication number: 20050242100
Abstract: A spill-proof container is constructed of a bowl with an access opening for holding particulate material that is freely rotatable within the chamber of a bowl support having an access opening. The access openings of the bowl and support are aligned when the bowl and support are both in their upright orientation. When the support is tipped, the bowl, which is heavier at its bottom, remains upright. As a result, the chamber access opening rotates out of alignment with the bowl access opening, which is then covered with a part of the chamber wall.

  • Publication number: 20050029151
Abstract: A food tray for use in a modified atmosphere package is provided by the present invention. The tray includes product area for holding food items, which may be specifically shaped for holding particular types of items, and at least 25% void area that does not hold any product due to the shape of the tray. The tray has air vents that facilitate gas flushing of the void area during packaging of the tray, wherein the air vents may also provide communication between the product area and void area. In addition, the air vents are not visible when food items are placed in the product area. The tray may be made of a single piece of folded material, wherein the folds form the void area.
