Publication number: 20170147328Abstract: Disclosed herein is a roaming settings service that receives an update to roaming settings specific to a user that is initiated by an instance of an application program provisioned according to a first application mode. Upon receiving a request for the roaming settings specific to the user initiated by an instance of the application program provisioned according to a second application model, the roaming settings service retrieves updated roaming settings that reflect the update to the roaming settings. The settings service transfers the updated roaming settings for delivery to the instance of the application program provisioned according to the second application model.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 2, 2017Publication date: May 25, 2017Inventors: David H. Patent number: 9399951Abstract: Louver systems for gas turbine bleed air systems are disclosed. An example louver system may include a bleed system discharge opening arranged to vent bleed air from a bleed flow conduit and a plurality of pivotable louvers disposed proximate the discharge opening, the pivotable louvers being pivotable between a shut position and an open position. In the shut position, individual louvers may at least partially obstruct the discharge opening. In the open position, individual louvers may at least partially control a direction of flow of the bleed air exiting the discharge opening.Type: GrantFiled: April 17, 2012Date of Patent: July 26, 2016Assignee: General Electric CompanyInventors: Christina Granger Morrissey Haugen, Bradley Willis Fintel, Brian Richard Green, Kevin Samuel Klasing

Publication number: 20060198705Abstract: A pipeline ballast has at least two sacks adapted to straddle a pipeline. Permeable sacks filled with inert high density aggregate such as barite uses less dry weight of aggregate to restrain buoyancy. Preferably a top sack and two pairs of side sacks connected to either side of the top sack, which when cinched, conform to the pipeline. Preferably each side sack is a pair of sacks which are flexibly hinged for more efficient loading onto the pipeline and for better conforming to the pipeline when cinched. Preferably a one piece cinching strap has two loops spaced thereon hook and loop type fasteners at the loose ends for securing together once cinched. The cinching strap is wrapped about the pipeline ballast and the lifting loops are positioned low on either side of the pipeline and lifted tangentially away from each other before the loose ends of the strap are secured to each other.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 22, 2005Publication date: September 7, 2006Applicant: TIGER RIDGE RESOURCES LTD.Inventors: Bradley Willis, W.
