Abstract: Systems and methods for a financial institution to compile information regarding customer loans and items/assets securing the loans to create an environment in which troubled debtors may place an asset into a pool of assets for resale/exchange and to be released of obligations to repay the loan associated with the asset. In some implementations, a customer may replace the asset with another asset in the pool, where the replacement asset imposes a reduced (or no) obligation on the debtor. The pool of assets may include real estate, automobiles, major electronics, major appliances, artwork, etc. In some implementations, the financial services provider may be able to place an asset into the pool of goods before it becomes damaged, destroyed or goes missing by modeling customer behavior and anticipating a pending default on a loan.

Abstract: Systems and methods to provide a payment include techniques to receive, from a customer, an electronic request for the payment, associate the request with an account designated by the customer, electronically send the request for the payment to a payer designated by the customer, receive the payment from the payer, and deposit the payment into the account designated by the customer.

Abstract: A system and method provide determining a wildfire risk associated with home and identifying mitigatable features located on and around the home. An inspection list of questions is presented to a user through a mobile computing device, and images are captured by a camera included in the mobile computing device. In an embodiment, an image can be captured using augmented visual assistance through a mobile application. A wildfire risk associated with the home can be determined at least based on answers to the questions in the inspection list and captured images. In another embodiment, a virtual reality game for simulating a wildfire behavior is provided. The wildfire behavior can be re-simulated during the game after removing or modifying mitigatable features on or around the home. In yet another embodiment, a system and method for determining a building status and location is provided in real-time during an active fire.

Abstract: Automobile accident claims initiation systems and methods are described. An insured driver may initiate a claim by operating a mobile device. The system provides automated inquiries to the driver through the mobile device. The driver provides responses to the inquiries using the mobile device. The driver may provide images and audio data, as well as personal information and information on the parties and vehicles involved in the accident. The system may automatically arrange for services such as a rental car or a tow truck. The system may provide claim information, such as a claim number to the driver by transmitting information to the mobile device.

Abstract: A method for protecting against a loss in market value of real property includes providing a computer having a computer processor and modeling, using the computer processor, events to determine an expected future market value for the real property. The method also includes defining a premium amount for a policy to protect against a loss defined by a difference between a market value of the real property at a predetermined time and the expected future market value and determining, using the computer processor, the market value of the real property at the predetermined time. The method further includes determining, using the computer processor, that the loss has occurred and thereafter, covering the loss.

Abstract: A system for providing retirement location advice may comprise at least one subsystem that receives location characteristic preference input from a customer, at least one subsystem that finds possible locations that a customer could afford during their retirement based on a retirement plan of the customer and the location characteristic preference input of the customer, and at least one subsystem that displays the possible locations found.

Abstract: The availability of one or more agents of an institution to communicate with a user may be determined and reported to the user. An application on a user computing device may provide an indication as to how many agents are currently available to speak with the user and/or a wait time until an agent becomes available. The user computing device may display a call icon that the user may select to place a call to an available agent. The user computing device may display a call icon that the user may select to receive a callback from an available agent. Call volume statistics may be provided to the user and may be used to determine when an agent is most likely unavailable and/or most likely available.

Abstract: A financial card, also referred to as an evacuation card, may be activated by an institution during an evacuation and may be used in accordance with usage parameters for the purchase of goods and services from merchants during an evacuation. After the evacuation ends, the financial card may be deactivated. The financial card may have a predetermined spending limit or no spending limit as determined by the institution. The spending limit may be modified during an evacuation, such as if the event underlying the evacuation becomes more severe or the duration of the evacuation increases, for example. In an implementation, the financial card may only be used for purchases within a particular geographic location as determined by the institution, may only be used to purchase certain items, and/or may only be used to make purchases at certain merchants.

Abstract: Methods and systems for retirement planning that provides an insurance against a failure to obtain a desired retirement savings amount because of market forces. A retirement planning engine may run on a server and operates to determine a customer's retirement plans. The retirement planning engine may define a customer's retirement plan using one or more savings or investment vehicles, and details an amount to be saved of time in order to provide a desired income for the customer's retirement years. In some implementations, the retirement planning engine may offer a retirement “gap” insurance product to the customer to protect against a difference between the amount saved by the customer and the amount needed to achieve desired annual income for the retirement years. The insurance policy may cover this “gap” if the customer adheres to the plan defined by the retirement planning engine.

Abstract: A testing device is provided that may be attachable and detachable from a smoke detector. The testing device may have a rod that pushes a testing button on the smoke detector. The testing device may have a light detector which will actuate the rod to push the testing button if the light from an appropriate remote control or other light source is directed onto it, in order to verify that the smoke detector is operating properly without manually pushing the testing button. The testing device may store a unique identifier (ID) and generate and transmit data pertaining to results of the testing of the smoke detector.

When the icon or link is clicked or otherwise selected, the user is provided with a list of his phone numbers to choose from, or a blank field to enter an alternate number, for an immediate return call from a representative of the entity (e.g., the company) associated with the webpage. When this request is submitted, the representative desirably calls the user back immediately (e.g., within about 10 seconds) to provide assistance. Thus, the user remains on the website, and gets the help he desires to continue on the website, which may, for example, lead to the user making an online purchase.

In embodiments, the monetary value may be restricted to a single transaction and a maximum amount. A graphical representation of an electronic check may be provided for presentation to a providing user from which an electronic funds transfer may be initiated. The electronic check may be generated when desired. A payment date selection may be received for an electronic check on a date within the electronic account register and the electronic check may be indicated for the particular date in the electronic account register. The electronic check may be received and associated with a receiving user. An estimated charge for an actual charge may be replaced in the electronic account register in accordance with analyzing one or more actual charges.

In addition to the general system, systems, methods and computer readable media for task prioritizing, the tasks may be prioritized based on the number of first users associated with a task, the importance of each first user associated with a task, and the way the task was identified.

Abstract: Systems and methods to process overhead imagery received from overhead image sources are described herein. Examples include accessing an aerial image including a property, determining an owner of the property, determining whether the owner of the property is eligible to be a member of a financial institution, determining whether the owner of the property has property insurance with the financial institution for the property type of the property in the aerial image, and presenting an offer for insurance to insure the property in the aerial image when the owner is determined to be eligible for the financial institution and does not already have insurance with the financial institution. Examples include accessing an aerial image of properties, determining damage estimates, and reserving resources to repair the properties based on the damage estimates.
