  • Publication number: 20210361881
Abstract: An injection device comprising a body for receiving a syringe, a firing mechanism comprising a plunger configured to be axially displaced in a forward direction within the body and a driver system for driving the plunger forwards upon activation of the injection device, and a lockout shroud telescopically coupled to a forward end of the body so that it projects from the forward end at least immediately prior to activation in order to shroud a syringe needle. The device further comprises a biasing member for biasing the lockout shroud in a forward direction relative to the body, the lockout shroud being coupled to the firing mechanism such that a first predefined rearward movement of the shroud relative to the body releases the driver system to drive the plunger forward, and a lockout shroud inhibitor configured to provide increased resistance to rearward movement of the lockout shroud following a second predefined rearward movement of the lockout shroud, less than said first predefined rearward movement.

  • Publication number: 20210353860
Abstract: A housing suitable for use with one of a plurality of containers containing a medical substance, wherein the plurality of containers have different outer diameters, the housing comprising: one or more internal projections at a distal side of the housing for blocking distal movement of a first container when the first container is received within the housing, wherein the first container has a first external diameter; one or more inwardly projecting ridges provided proximally from said one or more internal projections, wherein the ridges are suitable for blocking distal movement of a container holder which holds a second container when the container holder is received within the housing, wherein the second container has a second external diameter which is smaller than the first external diameter.

  • Publication number: 20200133093
Abstract: A modular photo kiosk includes a series of lightweight panels that fit together and attach to a base member. In a preferred embodiment, the panels include a top panel, a center panel, and a bottom panel. The top panel may include on a front portion a pair of compartments, wherein the first compartment receives a camera and video screen (such as an iPad or other tablet device), and the second compartment is used to house a light. The rear of the panels may include one or more channels for receiving power cords, so that the power cords run from the compartments, down the back of the kiosk, and the cord extends from a bottom portion of the kiosk so that it may be plugged into a wall outlet. Attachment means are used to connect the panels together, and are also used to connect the bottom panel to the base member.

  • Patent number: 9439556
Abstract: A system for autonomous camera control includes a first robot having a surgical tool mounted as an end effector and a second robot having a camera mounted as an end effector. A controller may be provided for manipulating the second robot, where the controller stores a first kinematic model for the first robot and a second kinematic model for the second robot. The controller may be configured to automatically manipulate the second robot to position the camera based on the second kinematic model and an expected position of the surgical tool according the first kinematic model of the first robot. The controller is further configured to identify a threshold angle from a viewing axis of the camera, calculate a tool angle from the viewing axis of the camera, and move the camera toward or further away from the tool depending on if the tool angle is greater than or less than the threshold angle.
