  • Publication number: 20240234823
Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments of battery stacker machines, including z-fold stacker machines, configured to provide a rolling transfer of a battery layer so as to reduce scrubbing. In some embodiments, the layer is flexed onto an arcuate surface using a vacuum or other force. The arcuate surface is then rotated to release the layer at a desired transfer location. For instance, the desired transfer location may be on top of a stack or onto another arcuate gripper surface.
    Type: Application
    Filed: October 19, 2023
    Publication date: July 11, 2024
Inventors: Derek Graham AQUI, Christopher E. BARNS, Scott G. BEARD, Joseba BRIT ELOLA, Brady L. BYERS, Gautam DHAR, Michael E. MYERS, William L. SCHULDT, Karl WEIBEZAHN, Alan J. SWAN

  • Patent number: 9452889
Abstract: A tipper retrofit bearingless reciprocating slat-type conveyor assembly 200 for use in a load-holding compartment including a plurality of elongate hold down strips 220, a plurality of elongate guide trough subdecks 230, and a plurality of longitudinal slats 210 adjacent to and parallel to each other is described herein. Also described herein is a snap together bearingless reciprocating slat conveyor for use in a load-holding compartment (that has at least one cross-member having an overhang) that includes at least one reciprocating slat-type conveyor assembly 300, 400 and at least one elongate slat 310, 410 at least partially supported by at least one subdeck 330, 430.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 6, 2013
Date of Patent: September 27, 2016
    Assignee: Hallco Industries Inc.
Inventors: Timothy M. Berthelsen, Brady L. Byers, Gregory P. Danis
  • Patent number: 8887896
Abstract: A liquid-tight reciprocating floor construction or system includes a plurality of longitudinal sub-deck sections having at least one longitudinal guide beam and at least one longitudinal valley. A first longitudinal side edge of one longitudinal sub-deck section is preferably in a mating relationship with an adjacent second longitudinal side edge of another longitudinal sub-deck section. An internal sealing structure is preferably positioned between adjacent first and second longitudinal side edges to form a longitudinal liquid-tight sub-deck joint therebetween.

  • Patent number: 8616365
Abstract: A reciprocating slat conveyor includes a plurality of laterally and substantially parallel longitudinal trough-like subdecks and a plurality of longitudinal slats adjacent to and parallel to each other. The slats are in a sliding relationship with a pair of adjacent subdecks and cover the longitudinal space between the pair of adjacent subdecks. The subdecks longitudinally support two adjacent slats at or near a slat longitudinal side edge. The subdecks conduct the movement of the slats, preferably without distinct bearing elements therebetween. Some preferred embodiments include raised double-seal system.
