Abstract: A pivoting mechanism for a vehicle such as a radio control toy vehicle includes a rotating element loosely mounted on a wheel axle and extending slightly beyond the wheel radius. When the vehicle moves forward, the rotating element rotates up out of the way and does not create substantial friction with the ground. When the vehicle moves in reverse, the rotating element catches the ground, which causes the rotating element to kick up underneath the vehicle into a generally downward position, thus raising the vehicle up onto the rotating element rather its associated wheel, which causes the vehicle to turn sharply about the rotating element. A stop prevents the rotating element from rotating past its vertically downward position. When the vehicle moves forward again, the rotating element automatically rotates up again out of the way so that the vehicle drives forward in a substantially straight line.

Abstract: A set of card construction clips for combining cards to form a structure may include inline clips, each including a pair of clip jaws, each clip jaw mounted on opposite sides of a central support section along an axis. Angle clips may have a pair of clip jaws mounted on different sides of the central support section and have an included angle of less than 180° between them. Clips more than two clip jaws mounted to the central support section may also be provided. Each clip jaw may include a pair of opposing jaws with teeth in a central slot which may terminate in a stress relief opening having a registration surface that control card insertion depth. Clips may have an included angle on the order of about 135°, 45° or 90° between the clip jaws. Clips may be provided with three or four clip jaws.

Abstract: An articulated boat may include a pair of pontoons and a central cabin connected by pair of struts, each pair forming a parallelogram and one or more motors for changing the elevation between the central cabin and the pair of pontoons and for moving the boat through the water. The motors may be operated by remote control.
