  • Publication number: 20260049045
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for ethylene detection, the methods and systems including activation of an olefin metathesis catalyst by initial ethylene molecules to produce signal molecules and secondary ethylene molecules, where the ethylene includes the initial ethylene molecules and the secondary ethylene molecules, and detecting the ethylene.

Inventors: Brian Michel, Brady Worrell, Autumn Giger, Jaiden Voldrich
  • Publication number: 20250340594
Abstract: The invention described herein includes a novel platform for the development of novel shapeshifting drug-like compounds that overcome physical mass limitations as they possess the ability to interconvert internally and spontaneously, i.e., shapeshift, between multiple chemical structures with varying pharmacophore properties. In one preferred embodiment, the invention include systems, methods, and compositions for the synthesis of novel bullvalene amino acid (Bvas) compounds that may further be incorporated into Shape Shifting Cyclic Peptides (SSCP) with varying pharmacophore properties and their use as novel therapeutic compounds.
    Type: Application
    Filed: July 10, 2025
    Publication date: November 6, 2025
Inventors: Michael Stowell, William Old, Brady Worrell, John Mayer

  • Publication number: 20240301106
Abstract: A method for tailoring mechanical properties of a photopolymer includes providing an active monomer feedstock, adding a sulfur-free chain transfer agent (CTA) to the active monomer feedstock to form a mixture, and curing the mixture under predetermined conditions. The sulfur-free CTA includes a Cobalt(II) complex or a Cobalt(III) complex, the mechanical properties include glass transition temperature, crosslinking density, and/or conversion rate, and a concentration of the sulfur-free CTA is less than 30% of the mixture. The predetermined conditions include intensity, wavelength, and application time of energy from a light source, a cure temperature, and/or the concentration of the sulfur-free CTA in the mixture. The method may further include adding a diluent to the mixture to modify a viscosity of the active monomer feedstock. The diluent may include one of a reactive diluent and a non-reactive diluent, such as methyl methacrylate (MMA) and methacrylate (MA).
