Compositions include: (1) a solvent system comprising water in an amount of at least about 10% by weight with respect to the total weight of the composition and at least one C2-C5 monoalcohol in a concentration by weight in the composition that is about 55% or less and in an amount effective to inhibit formation of a precipitate of compound X and compound Y in the composition prior to application; (2) at least one polyphenol X comprising at least two different phenol groups; (3) at least one polyoxyalkylenated nonionic compound Y and having on average from four to seven oxyalkylene units per molecule; and (4) at least one pigment. Methods of use are also provided.
