Publication number: 20240136866Abstract: A camera module includes a camera, a charging coil, and a magnetic assembly. The charging coil is located in a bottom portion of the camera module. The charging coil provides wireless charging of the camera. The magnetic assembly is located in a rear portion of the camera module. The magnetic polarities of the magnetic assembly produce a large magnetic flux outside the camera module and a low magnetic flux within the camera module.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 20, 2022Publication date: April 25, 2024Inventors: Brandon Brocklesby, Jason S. Morrison

Patent number: 7397660Abstract: An airflow regulating apparatus includes a support frame for coupling to a chassis adjacent a heat producing component connector, the support frame defining a regulator channel, and also including an airflow regulator moveably coupled to the support frame and operable to be positioned in the regulator channel. A board including a heat producing component may be provided and the support frame coupled to the board, whereby the airflow regulator will move out of the regulator channel to allow airflow through the regulator channel and past the heat producing component. The heat producing component may then be removed, whereby the airflow regulator will move into the regulator channel to prevent airflow through the regulator channel.Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 2005Date of Patent: July 8, 2008Assignee: Dell Products L.P.Inventors: Bernard Strmiska, Brandon Brocklesby

Patent number: 7113407Abstract: A low profile expansion card retaining clip is disclosed. In one aspect, the present disclosure teaches a chassis component forming a part of a chassis including a panel having an aperture formed therein. The aperture maintains access to a computer component. The computer component has a bracket. A frame formed adjacent the aperture receives a portion of the bracket. A retaining clip movably couples to the frame such that the retaining clip moves between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The retaining clip oriented and designed to permit airflow through the frame. A spring member operably extending from a portion of the retaining clip, the spring member operably engages the bracket to secure the computer component to the chassis component in the engaged position and operably permits removal and installation of the computer component in the disengaged position.Type: GrantFiled: May 3, 2005Date of Patent: September 26, 2006Assignee: Dell Products L.P.Inventors: George T. Holt, Brandon Brocklesby

Patent number: 7075791Abstract: An apparatus for securing and releasing a chassis component is provided that includes a latch including a beveled surface, the latch operable to translate along an axis. A first resilient member is coupled to the latch, the first resilient member operable to bias the latch in a latching position along the axis. A second resilient member is coupled to the latch and adjacent the beveled surface, whereby upon a first translating motion of the latch the second resilient member is moved to a retaining position, and upon a second translating motion of the latch the second resilient member is moved to a release position.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 2004Date of Patent: July 11, 2006Assignee: Dell Products L.P.Inventors: Bernard Strmiska, Russell Smith, Brandon Brocklesby
