  • Publication number: 20230167262
Abstract: A water soluble polymer blend composition includes at least one water soluble polymer and at least one immiscible polymer. The water soluble polymer and the immiscible polymer can be melt processed at a temperature above their respective melt processing temperatures and quenched to form the water soluble polymer blend composition in a non-equilibrium state, such that it can exhibit a non-equilibrium morphology. Non-equilibrium morphologies can include, e.g., a microfiber morphology or a co-continuous morphology.

  • Patent number: 11104041
Abstract: A consumable material configured for use in an additive manufacturing system includes a polymeric matrix having polyetherersulfone (PES) in a range of between about 30 wt % and about 85 wt % of the polymeric matrix and polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) in a range between about 15 wt % and about 70 wt % of the polymeric matrix, wherein the polymeric matrix is in a media form suitable for processing in the additive manufacturing system and having a Tg that is about 190° C. or greater and a coefficient of thermal expansion of less than about 30 ?m/(m·° C.). The consumable material is suitable for use in 3D printing of composite mold tools.

    Assignee: Stratasys, Inc.
Inventors: Vittorio L. Jaker, Brandon Cernohous
  • Patent number: 10781596
Abstract: A polymeric composite derived from a reclaimed polymeric material. The polymeric composite in particulate form can be thermally compressed into panels and other embodiments that require a component that possesses sufficient mechanical strength and moisture resistance. In certain embodiments, the panel may be utilized as one layer in a multilayered article.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 28, 2014
Date of Patent: September 22, 2020
    Assignee: MAGMA FLOORING LLC
Inventors: Jeffrey Jacob Cernohous, Greggory S Bennett, Brandon Cernohous, Garrett S Van Gorden
