Publication number: 20240109411Abstract: A vehicular pedal assembly includes a pedal housing with a mounting surface on a forward side for securement within a vehicle. A rotatable pedal has a proximal portion positioned in the pedal housing and a distal portion including a foot pad spaced from the pedal housing. The pedal is biased to a first limit position with respect to the pedal housing, and the distal portion is configured to be actuated from the first limit position in a forward direction. A friction system is provided for generating a resistance force against movement of the pedal toward and away from the first limit position. The friction system includes a friction lever having a friction pad, the friction lever being carried by the pedal and pivotable on the pedal to establish friction contact with a friction contact surface of the pedal housing.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2022Publication date: April 4, 2024Inventors: John Clark, James M. Patent number: 10938174Abstract: Torque adapter for a cable connector that expands to fit connector nuts of different sizes. The adapter fits around the cable connector and engages three of the corners of a hex nut with matching recessed regions in its inner surface. It has three slots that receive the other three corners of the connector nut. The adapter is flexible so that the slots may widen to accommodate connector nuts of larger widths. The outer surface may be hexagonal so that a wrench or similar tool may be used to turn the torque adapter.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 2017Date of Patent: March 2, 2021Assignee: Steren Electronics International, LLCInventors: Joshua Blake, Brandon Clark

Patent number: 9565427Abstract: A high definition multimedia interface (HDMI) test system including an HDMI test device that includes a display, a microcontroller, first and second input ports, an output port, a first cable connector, a second cable connector, and a third cable connector. The HDMI test device couples to an external device and receives an HDMI signal from the external device via the first cable connector. The microcontroller receives the HDMI signal from the first input port and converts the signal to a video signal, wherein the display displays an image associated with the video signal. The microcontroller transmits a test HDMI signal to the third cable connector, receives the test signal from the second cable connector and compares the test signal transmitted to the third cable connector and the test signal received from the second cable connector to determine continuity of an HDMI cable coupled with the second and third cable connectors.Type: GrantFiled: February 15, 2016Date of Patent: February 7, 2017Assignee: Steren Electronics International, LLCInventors: Joshua Blake, Brandon Clark

Publication number: 20160265797Abstract: A vent for a domestic appliance may comprise a through hole in an adjacent wall for increasing airflow to and/or from heat-generating or heat-dissipating components of a refrigerator or other type of appliance. An appliance vent may include a conduit installed through a wall, ceiling, floor, and/or cabinet to provide communication to an adjacent room or space, where warmer air may be ejected or from where cooler air may be drawn. An appliance vent may include vent louvers, acoustic baffles, or an adjustable shutter plate to adjust airflow through the vent. Sound dampening material may be placed within the through hole and/or conduit.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 19, 2016Publication date: September 15, 2016Inventors: MICHAEL JAMES BULL, BRANDON CLARK MILLS, CLINTON TROY JENSEN

Publication number: 20050120458Abstract: A flat panel display is disposed upon a useful article, such as wearing apparel or the like. In one embodiment, the display is integrated into a T-Shirt. A micro-controller is operationally connected to the display and a rotatable holder. The present invention further comprises a plurality of memory chips operationally mounted upon the rotatable holder. Each chip contains a graphics image to be displayed upon the flat panel display. The micro-controller further comprises a micro-processor, memory, reader device controller as well as a display device controller. Using a mechanical actuator, the user rotates the rotatable holder until a specific image is selected. Then, the selected memory chip is connected to the reader device controller so that the image can be read into memory and transferred to the display by the display device controller. In another embodiment of the present invention, a three dimensional covering is mounted upon the flat panel display.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 21, 2003Publication date: June 9, 2005Inventor: Brandon Clark
