  • Publication number: 20240106915
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for dynamically adjusting notification frequency for a sporting event. During a sporting event, information related to the sporting event is received. A first level of interest of a user in the sporting event is determined. A performance metric of a competitor in the sporting event is determined. A second level of interest of the user in receiving notifications relating to the sporting event is generated as a function of the first level of interest and the performance metric. In response to determining that the second level of interest exceeds a notification frequency threshold, a notification is presented for the user that includes the information related to the sporting event when the information is received during the sporting event.

  • Patent number: 11282123
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing media recommendation to a user based on analyzing a blockchain ledger. A user interest score that represents interest of the user in media assets associated with a first keyword is stored. A blockchain ledger is accessed. The blockchain ledger includes multiple blocks, each block identifying: (1) a media asset; (2) a seller user; and (3) buyer user. A blockchain ledger is searched to find a block that: (1) identifies a first media asset that comprises metadata which includes the first keyword; and (2) identifies the user as the seller. The user interest score is then reduced based on such a block being found. A media asset recommendation is then provided to the user based on the user interest score.

  • Patent number: 10075751
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for validating content scheduled to be transmitted from a content source. The system may generate a media fingerprint of the content that is transmitted during a specific time from a specific content source. The system may then compare the media fingerprint with media fingerprints in a database of known media assets. When a match is found, the system may retrieve a unique identifier associated with the matched fingerprint. The system may further determine a unique identifier associated with generated media fingerprint. The system may then compare the two identifiers and if the unique identifiers match the media asset is validated. If the unique identifiers do not match, a discrepancy is found and various actions may be taken in response.
