  • Patent number: 9302135
Abstract: A multi zone trampoline is disclosed. The trampoline includes a frame, including a plurality of first vertical members, a plurality of first horizontal members coupled to the first vertical members and generally defining a perimeter of a planar jumping surface, a plurality of second vertical members, the second vertical members having a height greater than the first vertical members, a plurality of second horizontal members coupled to the second vertical members and at least partially defining a second perimeter greater than the perimeter of the planar jump surface, and a plurality of caps positioned at the top of at least a portion of the first vertical members, the caps configured to accommodate cables running in perpendicular directions while preventing direct contact between perpendicular cables. A plurality of segments are arranged to form the jump surface, the planar segments being coupled to one or more of the cables.

  • Publication number: 20150335930
Abstract: According to a preferred embodiment, the present invention discloses a system for projecting images onto a trampoline and a detection system located in association with the trampoline. The projection system projects images onto the surface of the trampoline. The system determines when and if the user jumps onto the projected image. During the game, the player jumps to and onto the projected image. If the player does not jump onto the projected image within a defined period of time, the player is penalized and/or the game ends. If the player does jump onto the projected image within the defined period of time, the user is rewarded. The projected image is removed and a new image is projected onto another area of the trampoline. The player then jumps to and onto the newly projected image within a certain variable period of time.
