  • Publication number: 20250249852
Abstract: Disclosed are methods for managing power distribution to a plurality of thermal components of a vehicle. A method may include, responsive to receiving a power budget, allocating, by a thermal management module (TMM), a first power allocation to each active thermal component of the plurality of thermal components. A method may further include allocating, by the TMM, a second power allocation to each active thermal component of the plurality of thermal components based on a power consumption of each active thermal component of the plurality of thermal components. A method may further include allocating, by the TMM, a third power allocation to each active thermal component of the plurality of thermal components by equally distributing any excess power from the power budget following the first power allocations and the second power allocations.

  • Patent number: 12095061
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of managing thermal loads in the powertrain of an electric vehicle and controlling various electronic components of a powertrain thermal management system. The method may include heating a coolant of a powertrain coolant loop utilizing waste heat from a liquid-cooled powertrain component (e.g., an electric motor, a DC-DC converter, etc.), measuring a coolant temperature, and utilizing combined feedforward and feedback control methods for different components (pump(s), radiator fan(s), valve(s)) of the powertrain thermal management system.

  • Patent number: 9863126
Abstract: Telescoped ground engaging telescoped wear and support members are provided with self-adjusting connector apparatus that releasably retains the wear member in a rearwardly telescoped orientation on the support member. In illustrated embodiments thereof, the connector apparatus includes cooperating ratchet structures operatively associated with the support and wear members and functioning to automatically re-tighten an abrasion-created loosened interfit between the wear and support members in response to a rearwardly directed operational force imposed on the wear member.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 21, 2014
Date of Patent: January 9, 2018
    Assignee: Hensley Industries, Inc.
    Inventors: Isai Diaz, Brandon Dunn
