Abstract: A method of electronically reporting a reportable condition includes receiving a first document associated with a first type of a Consolidated-Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA) standard. The first document includes patient information associated with a patient treated by a healthcare provider (HCP). The method also includes parsing the first document into a plurality of patient information fields and determining whether any of the plurality of patient information fields in the parsed first document include a reportable condition. When at least one patient information field of the plurality of patient information fields includes the reportable condition, the method also includes generating a second document associated with a second type of the C-CDA standard and including the reportable condition.
