  • Publication number: 20240110910
Abstract: A rapid testing mechanism for respiratory viral pathogens includes a filter material, which includes a pathogen binding adsorptive reagent, positioned to capture exhaled breath particles from a respiratory tract. When the exhaled breath particles pass through the filter material, the following occur: when the binding adsorptive reagent reacts, a positive test for respiratory viral pathogens is indicated by the filter material; and when the pathogen binding adsorptive reagent does not react, a negative test is indicated. A transparent membrane makes the positive or negative test indication visible through the external layer of the filter material and, thus, visible to the external environment. For privacy, however, a cover over the transparent membrane may be movable between open and closed positions.

  • Publication number: 20230324366
Abstract: A rapid testing mechanism for respiratory viral pathogens includes a filter material positioned to capture exhaled breath particles from a respiratory tract. At least a portion of the filter material includes a pathogen binding adsorptive reagent, wherein the pathogen binding adsorptive reagent is a sulfated cellulose membrane. When the exhaled breath particles pass through the filter material, the following occur: when the binding adsorptive reagent reacts, a positive test for respiratory viral pathogens is indicated by the filter material; and when the pathogen binding adsorptive reagent does not react, a negative test for respiratory viral pathogens is individuated by the filter material.

  • Patent number: 11644456
Abstract: A rapid testing mechanism for respiratory viral pathogens includes a filter material positioned to capture exhaled breath particles from a respiratory tract. A portion of the filter material is impregnated with a pathogen binding adsorptive reagent. When the exhaled breath particles pass through the filter material the following occurs: when the binding adsorptive reagent reacts, a positive test for respiratory viral pathogens is indicated by the filter material; and when pathogen binding adsorptive reagent does not react, a negative test for respiratory viral pathogens is indicated by the filter material.

  • Publication number: 20220221838
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to an individualized artificial nipple made by a process comprising the steps of capturing surface geometry of a mammalian nipple with a device configured for capturing depth data, transferring the depth data to an additive manufacturing device, using the depth data to create a file format used for additive manufacturing, and producing a replica of the mammalian nipple using additive manufacturing.

  • Patent number: 11191253
Abstract: A system and method for verifying information relating to pets or support animals use steps of transmitting pet or support animal documentation from a sending user to a third party, verifying the documentation by the third party, resulting in a verified or unverified identifier, and storing a record corresponding to the documentation and the verified or unverified identifier in a data repository. Also facilitated are steps of requesting the verified or unverified identifier corresponding to the documentation by a recipient user using an end user device, querying the data repository for the record and selecting the corresponding verified or unverified identifier, accessing the verified or unverified identifier by the recipient user using the end user device, and determining whether a corresponding pet or support animal meets documentation criteria required by the recipient user based on the verified or unverified identifier.
