The first communication protocol is a short range wireless communication protocol and the second communication protocol is a native internet protocol. The first device is structured to receive data from the second device via the first communication protocol and to transmit the received data via the second communication protocol.

In one exemplary, non-limiting embodiment, the motion is detected via one or more motion sensors. An ambient light level is then determined using one or more ambient light sensors, and a light control device causes light to be output at an output light level associated with the determined ambient light level. In one embodiment, the output light level is further determined based on a current time interval during with which the motion is detected.
