  • Patent number: 11916362
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a cable tray fitting with tray connector and a flexible membrane with opposite longitudinal ends. The tray connectors are secured to the opposite longitudinal with each being secured to one of a pair of adjacent cable tray sections. The flexible membrane allows relative movement between the cable tray sections. The disclosure provides a cable tray assembly including first and second cable tray sections each with a longitudinal end. The cable tray assembly includes a cable tray fitting secured to and disposed between the longitudinal ends of the first and second cable tray sections. The disclosure provides a method of assembling a cable tray assembly by securing a cable tray fitting to opposing and adjacent longitudinal ends of first and second cable tray sections and allowing the cable tray sections to move in three dimensions relative to one another by virtue of the flexible membrane.

  • Publication number: 20160072432
Abstract: A module clip for use in grounding a photovoltaic module through electrical connection with a racking assembly on which the photovoltaic module is mountable. The module clip includes upper and lower clip jaws at least partially defining a press-fit channel for press fitting the module clip onto a lower flange of the photovoltaic module. A piercing member on at least one of the upper and lower clip jaws pierces an electrically non-conductive outer layer on the lower flange of the photovoltaic module and contacts an electrically conductive material of the lower flange as the module clip is press fit onto the lower flange. A lead-connecting member of the module clip is used in securing a ground wire to the module clip.

  • Patent number: 8702047
Abstract: A bracket is disclosed for mounting an electrical box on a mounting bar. The bracket comprises a front jaw and a rear jaw. The jaws are movable toward an open position for allowing movement of the bracket relative to the mounting bar and toward a closed position for gripping the mounting bar at a selected position along the mounting bar. The jaws are biased toward the closed position. An electrical box is attached to the front jaw. In one embodiment, the front jaw, rear jaw and a spring for urging the jaws closed are integrally formed from a single piece of sheet metal.
