  • Publication number: 20240110770
Abstract: A bullet catcher target apparatus is compact and portable with a target enclosure and telescoping legs that can be set up to meet any terrain (e.g., gravel, sand, dirt, asphalt, flat, sloped, humps or high spots, etc.). The bullet catcher target apparatus uses a tripod style base leg socket, fixed to the target enclosure. The legs each include outer legs that slide inside the leg sockets, and inner legs that slide into the outer legs. The telescoping legs have tension handles for tightening and adjusting a height of the legs to meet desired user heights, shooting angles and positions. Storage sockets are fixed to the target enclosure for leg storage, making the bullet catcher target apparatus compact when being transported location to location and/or for manageable storage.

  • Publication number: 20230329861
Abstract: A prosthetic heart valve includes a radially collapsible and expandable stent, a cuff and leaflets sutured thereto. The heart valve extends axially between an inflow end and an outflow end and the stent includes a layout of struts and nodes having a hybrid combination of vertical struts and oblique struts in the form of diamond-shaped and half diamond-shaped cells. The layout of the structure is configured to preserve a low cell density of material used in the stent to reduce the stent profile while in a collapsed state and to improve the deployment accuracy of the stent into the native valve annulus.

  • Patent number: 11619524
Abstract: A non-invasive dental or surgical monitoring system is disclosed. The monitoring system is comprised generally of dental or surgical equipment to be monitored, a main sensor unit, a set of sensors. The main sensor unit is in communication with various sensors removably attached to the equipment. The sensors monitor environment conditions related to the equipment rather than directly monitoring the equipment. The collected data is sent to the main sensor unit and can be accessed, or wirelessly transmitted by signal to a device or devices at another location. As collected data aggregates, a data profile can be created, machine learning can be used to discover patterns, and predictive analysis can be incorporated to help software make predictions of, or spot in real time, equipment problems based on deviations from the profile.

  • Patent number: 11278396
Abstract: A prosthetic mitral valve includes a collapsible and expandable stent extending from an inflow end to an outflow end. A collapsible and expandable valve assembly is disposed within the stent. The valve assembly includes a plurality of anterior leaflets and one posterior leaflet. The posterior leaflet has a larger surface area than any of the anterior leaflets. When implanted in the native mitral valve annulus, the smaller size of the anterior leaflets and the corresponding smaller size of an anterior portion of the stent reduce the likelihood of interference with blood flowing through the native aortic valve, while also reducing the likelihood of ventricular fibrillation.
