  • Patent number: 11969003
Abstract: The technology disclosed in this specification pertains to a heat-moisture treated fava bean protein concentrates having between 50% and 73% and a denaturation enthalpy from about 5.5 and 6.5 J/g. This is limited degree of denaturation. The disclosed heat-moisture treated fava bean protein concentrates are useful as emulsifiers, and good solubility in water, and reduced flavor.

  • Publication number: 20240078221
Abstract: A temporal graph model is provided that can handle all six graph updates cases: vertex created; vertex deleted; vertex property updated; edge created; edge deleted; and edge property updated. A memory efficient temporal graph storage solution stores the delta change of graph evolution at each update (e.g., instead of storing the whole graph snapshot at each time). Temporal graph querying techniques are described that can determine what the graph looks like at a given time in the past and can perform any graph query on that graph's snapshot at that time as if time traveling back to that time. Also provided are event sourcing techniques of recording and tracing temporal graph updates that make the evolution of the temporal graph explainable. Further provided is a seamless integration with a massive parallel graph processing and storage engine that fully leverages the multicore and multinode cluster computation and storage resources.

  • Patent number: 7661383
Abstract: A date indicator for use with a contact lens case having a base and at least one lens container is disclosed. The indicator comprises a lid to selectively close the at least one contact lens container. A generally annular day wheel has a plurality of day indicators on an upper surface thereof, and is rotatably captured within a cylindrical depression of the lid. A generally circular month wheel includes a plurality of mouth indicators on an upper surface thereof, and is rotatably captured on a central spindle of the lid. A torsion spring is fixed to a spring mounting mechanism of the day wheel. One end of the spring engages a sawtooth-notched wall of the month wheel and the other end of the spring engages a sawtooth-notched wall of the lid. The spring allows the day and month wheels to rotate in one direction together while preventing the day wheel from rotating in the opposite direction.

  • Publication number: 20090229418
Abstract: A device for removing an enclosure from a container includes a housing at least partially enclosing at least one reversible motor and at least two spaced-apart cams. The cams are rotatable in a first rotational direction in which the cams grasp the container and in a second rotational direction in which the cams are rotated a predetermined distance away from the container. A wrench disk is operatively connected to and rotatable by the at least one motor. At least two spaced-apart wrenches are pivotally attached to the wrench disk for removably grasping the enclosure. Operation of the motor in a first direction rotates the wrench disk in a first rotational direction causing the wrenches to grasp and rotate the enclosure relative to the container. Operation of the motor in a second direction rotates the wrench disk in a second rotational direction causing the wrenches to rotate a predetermined distance away from the enclosure.

  • Publication number: 20050169662
Abstract: A housing assembly including a housing having an access opening and a cover movable between a closed position wherein the cover generally covers the access opening and an open position wherein the cover generally does not cover the access opening. The assembly further includes a protrusion located on one of the housing or the cover, and a track located on the other one of the housing or the cover. The protrusion is slidably received in the track, and the track forms a generally closed loop shape such that the protrusion slides in the track when the cover is moved between the open and the closed positions. Additionally ramps may be provided on portions of the track to provide user feed back and to inhibit reverse motion of the protrusion.
