    Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to an attritable torch ignition system for a gas turbine engine. The attritable torch ignition system includes a fuel pre-heating component, a solenoid valve and an ignition controller. The ignition controller is configured to cause the solenoid valve to direct fuel to the pre-heating component during an ignition phase and to direct stop fuel from being directed to the fuel pre-heating component after the fuel has ignited. Ignition is caused when preheated fuel is mixed with air with sufficient energy from the heating element and directed into a combustion chamber of the gas turbine engine.

    Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for detection, tracing, and prediction of frac hits (or other type of fracture driven interactions) via automated approaches using a variety of multi-disciplinary data. In some implementations, frac hits may be automatically detected in real-time using production data including pressure and production water, gas, and oil rates, as well as other in-well and well-head measurements via both deterministic and AI-based methods. The detected frac hit information may then be combined with completion data to identify likely subsurface location candidates for frac hit origins. Those location candidates can then be compared with subsurface fault distribution to identify the communication pathways for fluid and/or pressure. The above steps form a complete “Monitoring-Tracing-Prediction-Alerting” loop for frac hit diagnostics which can be used to support the completion and production of wells in real-time or in historical context.

    Abstract: Applications that run on an overlay network-based managed service achieve high performance gains using a set of TCP optimizations. In a first optimization, a typical single TCP connection between a client and an origin server is broken into preferably three (3) separate TCP connections. These connections are: an edge-to-client connection, an edge-to-edge connection, and edge-to-origin connection. A second optimization replicates TCP state along the connection to increase fault tolerance. In this approach, preferably a given TCP connection is maintained on two servers. When a packet is received by one server, called the primary, its state is updated and then passed to a second server, called the backup. Only when the backup sends an acknowledgement back to the primary can it then send a TCP acknowledgement back to the host that originally sent the packet. Another optimization reduces connection establishment latency.
