  • Publication number: 20220298889
Abstract: Systems and methodologies are provided for simultaneously milling obstructions from within a subterranean wellbore while pumping the milled obstructions and debris from the wellbore to the surface. The present systems and methodologies are operative in a first milling and/or cleanout mode of operation to both mill the obstructions from the wellbore and then to clean such debris therefrom, a cleanout mode of operation alone, and/or a flushing mode of operation to flush the system and wellbore as desired. The present systems and methods of use may comprise providing at least one sealing assembly for sealingly positioning the system within the annular space of the wellbore, isolated the wellbore therebelow, providing at least one pump assembly configured in reverse circulation for cleaning the wellbore, and providing at least one milling assembly for milling obstructions from within the wellbore.

  • Patent number: 11174729
Abstract: Systems and methods for testing one or more closeable or fixed ports in a horizontal section of a well are provided. One of the systems comprises a jointed tubing string deployable by a service rig and a bottomhole assembly attached the jointed tubing string, the bottomhole assembly comprising a jet pump, a pressure sealing device, and an intake. The system may further include one or more of a shifting tool, a casing collar locator, an extension tubing, and an isolation device. The system draws fluid from the ports through the intake and the fluid may be tested as it flows through the buttonhole assembly and/or at surface. The isolation device may have a lower portion that is detachable from and re-attachable to the remaining components of the bottomhole assembly thereabove.

  • Publication number: 20200248537
Abstract: A system and a method for producing fluids from a subterranean well are provided. More specifically, a pumping system and a method operative to utilize at least two downhole pump assemblies to produce hydrocarbons from at least two locations of a subterranean reservoir is provided, the pump assemblies being controllably adjusted to synergistically provide uniform drawn down from the wellbore.

  • Publication number: 20180202270
Abstract: A jet pump is manufactured using additive and subtractive techniques. A tubular body and a diffuser formed therein form a monolithic structure. The tapered diffuser is continuously curved from a throat end to a discharge end. A cross-sectional area at the discharge end is optimized without compromising a cross-sectional area of a production conduit defined in an annular space between the body and the diffuser. The body can be shaped to include radially extending localized or circumferential protrusions to maximize fluid conduits within the pump. A one-way valve is formed within the production conduit using the additive and subtractive techniques and is integrated in the monolithic structure.
