  • Publication number: 20070060369
Abstract: The game machine system comprises an input/output interface, a communication network interface, and a processor. The input/output interface receives player input. The communication network interface transmits game information to a device. The processor transitions from a game in a normal gaming mode to a community bonus round, and operates the community bonus round.

  • Publication number: 20070060331
Abstract: A software product for operating a game with a community bonus round includes software and a storage medium. The software is operational when executed by a processor to direct the processor to receive a game play event from an interface of a game machine and transmit the game play event to a game system. The software is also operational when executed by the processor to direct the processor to process the game play event to determine a state of the game with the community bonus round and transmit the state to the game system for synchronization. The storage medium stores the software.

  • Publication number: 20070060317
Abstract: A gaming system-comprising a first game machine and a bonus server. The bonus server generates and transmits an initiation message to the first game machine and other game machines to initiate a community bonus round. The first game machine activates the community bonus round and transmits game information in the community bonus round. The bonus server then receives the game information from the first game machine and determines a result for the community bonus round.

  • Publication number: 20070060329
Abstract: A bonus server system comprises a network interface and a processor. The network interface is configured to receive game information from a first game machine and transmit an initiation message to the first game machine and to a second game machine. The processor is configured to determine whether to initiate a community bonus round based on at least some of the game information and generate the initiation message based on the determination to initiate the community bonus round.

  • Publication number: 20070060330
Abstract: A software product for gaming can comprise software operational when executed by a processor to direct the processor to activate an associative community bonus round on a first game machine, select a second game machine to join the first game machine in an associative community bonus round game, transmit an initiation message to the selected second game machine, and display the associative community bonus round game on the first game machine. The software product may be stored in a storage medium.

  • Patent number: 6743098
Abstract: A system for tracking game play frequency in a casino game, said system including a central server networked to a game unit, and a kiosk associated with the game unit. The central server stores personal information and registration biometric data of a player, wherein the personal information includes accrued comp point information. The kiosk includes a biometric reader for receiving a biometric identifier of a player, at least one of the central server and the kiosk compares the registration biometric data with game unit biometric data extracted from the biometric identifier to determine comp points based on game play on the game unit.

  • Publication number: 20030017871
Abstract: A system and method for providing access to gambling resources is provided. A GeoBio Indicator (GBI) reads biometric information from a user and obtains positional information for the location of the GBI. The biometric information read from the use is compared with stored biometric information. The positional information for the location of the GBI is compared to a set of the geographic locations wherein gambling is legal. If the biometric information matches and the GBI is located in a geographic location where gambling is legal, access to gambling resources is allowed.

  • Publication number: 20020169021
Abstract: A system and method for providing an individualized bonus to a gambling player is provided. The player may be bonused based on either initial buyin when the player contributes money to a casino account or the player may be bonused based on the buyin wager for gambling activities. The player may be bonused for wagers on electronic gaming machines or table machine. The system uses a biometric identifier for said player to determine player-specific bonusing information. The bonus percentage applied to the player may be incrementally increased as the player buyin is increased.
