    Abstract: A lightweight device that attaches a waste receptacle to a passenger vehicle so that the vehicle can easily tow the waste receptacle. The device includes first and second parallel spaced plastic bars that are connected, such as by a pair of adjustable, rugged nylon straps. The first bar includes a loop for attaching the device to an automotive hitch, and the second bar has at least one hook for grasping the waste receptacle. To use the device, the first bar is secured to the vehicle, and the at least one hook is attached to the waste receptacle so vehicle can easily tow the waste receptacle.
