    Abstract: Disclosed is a tanaculum for surgery and examination of bio-tissue wherein the tenaculum has a first lever having a first disk on the distal end and the second lever having a second disk on the distal end, the first disk and the second disk having a textured surface on each face in opposition to each other wherein there is no sharp surface in contact with bio-tissue to prevent perforation, impaling, tearing or penetrating the tissue.
