  • Patent number: 11775606
Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods for controlling presentation in a web application among remote users over a data network. A web application has a remote control user-interface (UI) element that allows one to turn on or off remote control presentation. Presentation data is shared in the web application among remote users depending on whether the remote control UI element is turned on or off. A system includes an inter-browser controller coupled to the web application. The web application outputs a page having a remote control UI element. The inter-browser controller controls sharing of presentation data selected by a first user through the web application to other remote users depending on whether the remote control UI element is turned on or off.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: October 3, 2023
    Assignee: Weld North Education LLC
Inventors: Ian Michael Lotinsky, Brendan English, Christopher Vincent Salvato

  • Publication number: 20210215640
Abstract: This invention utilizes sensing technologies in combination with or in isolation of an automated inspection vehicle to conduct inspections of internal rail flaws in steel railroad track. A vehicle equipped with X-radiation sensing is used as a secondary method to assess the deviations in magnetic fields that are sensed by a primary sensor consisting of a single or multiple magnetometers. The magnetometers sense changes in magnetic field that are correlated to the flaws inside the steel rail. The technologies improve the probability to detect railroad flaws and offer the ability to accurately track and monitor flaws.

  • Patent number: 10989692
Abstract: This invention utilizes two sensing technologies in combination with or in isolation of an automated inspection vehicle to conduct inspections of internal rail flaws in steel railroad track. A vehicle equipped with X-radiation sensing is used as a secondary method to assess the deviations in magnetic fields that are sensed by a primary sensor consisting of a single or multiple magnetometers. • Patent number: 10486480
Abstract: A convertible trailer for road and rail operation has four rail wheels and two road wheels. Each road wheel is within a road wheel assembly which connects to a main pivot or axle on the trailer, around which the entire assembly can rotate and thereby separating the road wheels from direct connection to the trailer. A lift, which may be motorized or hand controlled, raises and lowers the entire trailer by raising or lowering a foot which engages with the ground. When raised sufficiently and a locking mechanism disengaged, the road wheel assemblies may pivot on the pivot or axle. This pivoting allows the wheels to be locked in high position out of the way for rail operation. With the road wheels disengaged, the trailer may be lowered allowing the rail wheels to contact rails for railway operation.

  • Patent number: 9950716
Abstract: An autonomous device for rail track inspection includes a drive wheel system propelling the device via a drive wheel system, an automatic track loading fixture for and applying a load on rails, and sensors for taking track gauge measurement. Different automatic track loading fixtures may require stopping for load and measurement, or loading and measuring while still in motion. A switch agnostic system for operation with devices on a conventional railroad track system includes a linear slider movably mounted along a linear sliding support; multiple sensors mounted to the linear slider, the sensors operable to identify a rail of a track junction; and multiple roller bearings operable to engage the rail of the track junction and control the device across the track junction in response to movement of the linear slider along the linear sliding support.
