Abstract: A method for displaying nodes within a set of nodes, stored as a set of linked pairs, indulging the steps of: providing a set of nodes each configured for being selectable as at least one of a root node, an antecedent node and a descendent node; choosing interactively any node within the set of nodes as a root node; selecting any node within the set of nodes as a second node to form a linked pair of nodes; determining if a relationship between the root and second nodes is directionless or directional; determining whether the second node is antecedent or descendent of the root node; and generating and displaying a knowledge map tree from the separately arranged linked pairs.

Abstract: A method for displaying knowledge nodes within a set of knowledge nodes, stored as a set of contiguous peer-to-peer relationships, including: choosing interactively any knowledge node within the set as a root, and dynamically creating a tree from the root by selecting a contiguous relationship, from the set, between a first and a second knowledge node in which the first knowledge node is a node at a tip of the tree, checking to see whether the second knowledge node is a real or virtual leaf, adding the second knowledge node to the tip creating a new branch and defining another tip, deducing that the new branch is fully developed and excluding the second knowledge node from being considered as a first knowledge node in reiteration if the second knowledge node is a real or virtual leaf, and reiterating until each peer-to-peer relationship in the set is selected.

Abstract: In a set of knowledge nodes with contiguous peer-to peer relationships, a method of displaying the knowledge nodes comprising the steps of choosing any knowledge node within the set of knowledge nodes as a root node; dynamically creating a tree from the root node, the tree being created by selecting a contiguous relationship in which one of the knowledge nodes in the relationship corresponds with the node at a tip of the tree; checking to see whether this knowledge node is a real or virtual leaf and if this is the case deducing that the branch of the tree is fully developed after adding this knowledge node to the tree; locating and developing successive branches through repeating the selecting, checking, adding and locating steps until all branches are fully developed.
