    Abstract: The invention is directed to an improved outlet assembly that provides at least one standard electrical socket in addition to one or more retractable charging cables. Most homes and buildings currently use wall outlets having only AC sockets. Advantageously, the disclosed outlet assembly also includes access to one or more retractable charging cables. Each cable is operably connected to a port configured on the interior of the assembly. Assembly therefore conveniently provides one or more retractable cables that allow a variety of mobile devices to be charged. Advantageously, the user does not need a separate cable, adapter, charger, and/or power supply.
