    Abstract: A radio carrier facilitates mounting of a portable radio on a shoulder strap of a golf bag or to a motorized golf cart when desired and is made up of a sleeve-like strap member which can be adjustably secured in surrounding relation to the shoulder strap and a fastener for mounting the radio casing on the strap member so that the radio controls are readily accessible to the golfer when playing the game of golf. A motion detector circuit is provided as a part of the internal radio circuit to automatically control the on/off state of the radio.
