Abstract: An apparatus (10) for preserving biological material. The apparatus (10) has an insert (4) configured to be arranged within an outer insulated tank (2), the insert (4) defining a compartment (6) for receiving biological material. Inflow of a heat exchange fluid into the compartment (6) from the outer insulated tank (2) is at or adjacent one face of the insert (4), while outflow of the heat exchange fluid out of the compartment 6 to the outer insulated tank (2) is at or adjacent said face of the insert (4). The compartment (6) has a wall having a series of apertures to accommodate a continuous heat exchange fluid flow through the apparatus such that, in operation, biological material in the compartment (6) is immersed in the heat exchange fluid to exchange heat with the heat exchange fluid for freezing of said biological material.

Abstract: The present invention provides an embroidery frame having at least three sections. The three sections are base section, an alignment section, and a retention section. The alignment section is configured to be positioned on the base section prior to the positioning of the retention section thereon. The retention section is configured to be engaged with the alignment section such that the alignment of the retention section with the base section is determined by the alignment of the alignment section with the base section. At least one of the alignment section and the retention section is configured to be magnetically attached to the base section.

Abstract: A raised iron sight assembly is provided. The raised iron sight assembly includes a raised iron sight portion with a base portion, a neck extending from the base portion, and a sight portion. The base portion includes at least one recoil lug configured to straddle at least one recoil groove on a firearm rail system. The raised iron sight assembly includes a latch portion configured to selectively attach to the raised iron sight portion.

Abstract: A panel attachable to a firearm rail including an elongated body with a top side, an opposed bottom side, a front end, and a rear end. The front end and the rear end each includes at least one aperture extending through the top side to the opposed bottom side of the elongated body. The panel also includes a gripped surface on the top side of the elongated body and a slot extending through the top side to the opposed bottom side. The slot is configured to receive a firearm accessory.

Abstract: A hooping station for an embroidery machine, that includes a base configured to receive a garment. A plurality of tracks are formed in the base and a plurality of bumpers are configured to fit within the tracks. At least a first bumper is configured to engage the first track the predetermined position. A light source is configured to form a light mark that is in a predetermined location relative to the first bumper.

Abstract: An energy harvesting wind sensor is provided for an awning assembly. The device is self-powering in that energy is converted from wind to electrical in order to power the sensor and a transmitter which signals a receiver to retract the awning assembly if a preselected threshold is met or exceeded. Since the system converts wind energy to electrical energy, wiring is not needed to extend along the moving or rotating parts of the awning assembly.
