The legs are retained in the use and transport positions by removable braces retentively engaging crossbars on the legs. The stand is transported and erected using a lift vehicle having forks extending beneath the platform, which raises the platform so that the legs fold downwardly by gravity. A blind may be mounted on top of the platform, to include one or more people for various activities, including deer hunting, birdwatching, and wildlife photography.
