  • Patent number: 9926102
Abstract: The present invention relates to thermoplastic products and packaging therefor. More particularly, some implementations of the invention relate to a thermoplastic material that is packaged in a box, such as a corrugated cardboard box. In some cases, the box has a quick opening mechanism extending between two opposite sides of the box. Some examples of such quick opening mechanisms include a perforation, a tear strip, a hook-and-loop fastener, and a chain stitch. While the packaging can in opened in any suitable manner, in some cases, a user grabs a flap on the box, pulls the flap to rip the box down a perforated quick opening mechanism, and uses the weight of the thermoplastic material to knock down the box so that it becomes substantially flat. Other implementations are also described.

  • Publication number: 20140263283
Abstract: The present invention relates to thermoplastic products. In particular, the present invention relates to systems and methods for heating a thermoplastic product. While the thermoplastic product can include any suitable ingredient, in some cases, it includes one or more electrically-conductive materials, such as iron. Also, while the thermoplastic product can be melted in any suitable manner, in some cases, an inductive heater is used to heat the electrically-conductive material and thereby melt the thermoplastic product. In some cases, the thermoplastic product is configured to be melted on demand. While this can be accomplished in any suitable manner, in some instances, the thermoplastic product is formed into an elongated shape, such as rope, that is fed past a heater, such as an inductive heater, to melt the product. In other cases, the thermoplastic product is melted in a vat that is heated by an inductive heater. Other implementations are also described.

  • Patent number: 8321431
Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for iteratively and interactively searching for information. Embodiments of the invention can provide a user with relevant location-specific information in response to a query from the user. Provided information can also be relevant to a user's predicted future behavior. As context for a user is obtained and/or accumulated, such as, for example, through an interactive query dialogue, the probability of providing relevant information in response to a query from the user increases.
