Abstract: A method is provided to simplify programmable control of and/or other electrical devices of at least a portion of at least one room in a building structure. A multi-touch flat panel switch with integrated sensors is adapted to e mounted in a receptacle in the building structure. The switch is Wi-Fi enabled so that function can be controlled by devices connected over a local area network or the Internet. The switch includes a multi-touch screen, sensors (photographic camera, microphone, speaker, infra-red, motion, proximity, temperature) and at least one microprocessor. Signals from the sensors are utilized to control a connected fixture and/or other electrical device.
