Abstract: Nasal cannula assemblies for providing respiratory therapy to patients are provided. A nasal cannula assembly can include a cannula, an optional manifold which may be removable, a gas supply tube, and a securement mechanism. Securement mechanisms can include headgear straps, cheek pads, or an adhesive nose strip. A nasal cannula assembly can also include a lanyard, lanyard clip, and/or lanyard connector to help support the weight of a main gas delivery conduit.

Abstract: A privacy enabled system for managing clinical study participant travel has a database (stores data: clinical study, participant, clinical site and trip data sets) and a graphical user interface that has a Travel Planning Interface and is in data communication with an input device and the database. The data sets include a Study Travel Policy, a Study Visit Schedule (appointment procedure, appointment schedule), a traveler profile, traveler personal data (traveler contact information), a site appointment location associated with the appointment procedure, and site contact information. The travel planning interface receives the trip data set (trip segment data) from the database and the input device. The travel planning interface transmits the trip segment data to and receives booked travel data from a travel booking module, generates an itinerary that has booked travel and trip segment data, and transmits the itinerary according to the traveler contact information and the site contact information.

Abstract: Systems for visualization and management of a travel policy for a clinical study have a study dataset having a first travel policy condition, a study travel policy dataset having a main travel policy and a specialized travel policy, and a GUI having a travel policies interface and a travel policy control. The first travel policy condition may be a country, a clinical site, a traveler policy label, a visit attribute, a visit policy label, and combinations thereof. The specialized travel policy (a country policy, a site policy, a first visit policy, a second visit policy, a custom policy, and combinations thereof) is programmatically associated with the first travel policy condition.

Abstract: A network computing system can coordinate on-demand transport serviced by transport providers operating throughout a transport service region. The transport providers can comprise a set of internal autonomous vehicles (AVs) and a set of third-party AVs. The system can receive a transport request from a requesting user of the transport service region, where the transport request indicates a pick-up location and a destination. The system can determine a subset of the transport providers to service the respective transport request, and executing a selection process among the subset of the transport providers to select a transport provider to service the transport request. The system may then transmit a transport assignment to the selected transport provider to cause the selected transport provider to service the transport request.

Abstract: A portable steamer device may include a casing, and a heater in the casing, the heater configured for heating liquid into steam. One or more nozzles are configured for exhausting steam from the heater. A volume is defined fined between a wall of the casing and the heater. A liquid conduit has a cooling segment passing through the volume and in fluid communication with the heater, the liquid conduit configured to feed liquid to the heater. The cooling segment of the liquid conduit is a thermal barrier configured to capture heat in the volume with liquid passing through the liquid conduit toward the heater.

Abstract: A spot cleaner apparatus may have a clean fluid tank configured for holding a cleaning fluid. A dirty fluid tank may include an integrated liquid/air separator. A cleaning head may be fluidly coupled to the clean fluid tank, the cleaning head including one or more vacuum inlets and a fluid-nebulizing orifice configured to dispense the cleaning fluid in a mist-like fashion. Abstract: An endoscopy glove made of a material that provides a user with body fluid protection, tactile sensation and gripping ability for manipulating an endoscope when body fluids are present. The endoscopy glove has a body portion, a finger covering portion and a thumb covering. The body portion has a palmar surface and a dorsal surface where the palmar surface is a material having absorbing and gripping characteristics even when wet. The finger covering portion includes an index finger covering and a remaining finger covering portion where the index finger covering has a tactile portion that is a material having tactile characteristics similar to surgical gloves.

Abstract: A heating blanket includes a body operable to generate heat from power supplied by two leads. The body includes a support ply having a hole for receiving the lead so that a portion of the body may secure the lead to the blanket and protect the coupling of the lead to the blanket. The body also includes a heating element coupled to a stretchable matt. When the matt is stretched, the heating element stretches in the same direction and can continue to generate heat. Consequently, the body of the heating blanket can maintain sufficient contact with a composite assembly as a contour of the composite assembly's surface changes, and the blanket can adequately cure regions of an assembly that would otherwise be difficult to cure. Because the hole is in the support ply, the support ply reinforces the entire circumference of the hole. Consequently, the portion of the body can protect the coupling of the leads to the body of the blanket through multiple uses of the blanket.
