  • Publication number: 20220404016
Abstract: A remotely actuated pilot valve provides for a pilot gas valve that includes safe lighting and complete shutoff capabilities in the event that the flame that is heating a thermocouple is extinguished, the pilot valve having a pilot flow interrupter to provide pilot gas only when initially opened. A heater system that utilizes such a pilot gas valve is provided as is a method whereby the pilot gas valve used in such a system can be remotely and electronically actuated when required. Remote actuation is accomplished by use of a solenoid that is incorporated within the valve design and which is controlled by a remote operator.

  • Patent number: 10010057
Abstract: A bird feeder assembly has a substantially horizontal plate that can be mounted to the uppermost inverted U-shaped curved portion of a typical shepherd's hook. The plate comprises a plurality of apertures in it. Several of the apertures are used to fasten the plate to the hook. Several more apertures can be used to support feeding cups within them. The cups are preferably made of a material that is easy to clean. Several more apertures are provided to allow a perch point along the plate such that feeding birds can wrap their feet around a portion of the plate. An alternative embodiment provides a support member such that the assembly can be attached to the vertical portion of the shepherd's hook.

  • Patent number: 9157562
Abstract: A positive swivel fitting provides for a system flow transmitting portion and a separate lock-down portion. The flow transmitting portion is configured to be receivable within the lock-down portion. When the flow transmitting portion is properly and “positively” positioned, then the lock-down portion can be secured and the position of the flow transmitting portion is maintained, thus making alignment with other parts of the flow device variable. The fitting can be used within any air, other gas or liquid flow system.
