Publication number: 20230390685Abstract: A gas turbine air intake system uses a filter element having a seal member with radial projections and radial recesses. The seal member forms a seal with components on the tube sheet of the system and at the end opposite of the tube sheet. At the end opposite of the tube sheet, there can be an assembly cover, or alternatively, an additional filter cartridge.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 29, 2023Publication date: December 7, 2023Applicant: Donaldson Company, Inc.Inventors: Jason A. TIFFANY, Brent L. ANDERSON, Richard P. DEJONG, Andrew C. DAHLGREN, Wim VAN GELDER, Olivier RONNEAU, Mathijs VERSTRAETE, Gert PROOST, Massimo MOVIA, Eli Payton ROSS, Michael R. CARLSON

Patent number: 10255226Abstract: A format agnostic data transfer system and methods for transferring between disparate components can include a transmitting component having a data push controller, a receiving component having a processor, and a memory connected to the processor. The data push controller can receive configuration instructions from the receiving component processor transfer said data to said memory, without requiring the use of direct memory access (DMA) at said transmitting component. The reconfigurable nature of the data push controller can allow for both fixed and variable stream data to be sent, making the system data format agnostic. The receiving component can be a processor, while the transmitting component can be a field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) or an application specific integrated circuits (ASIC).Type: GrantFiled: October 22, 2018Date of Patent: April 9, 2019Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the NavyInventors: Brent L. Anderson, Justin Sellers, Lance Gorrell, Jude Seeber

Patent number: 7017234Abstract: Folding tools including a tool blade and a handle are foldably connected by a lockable hinge which permits folding the assembly for compact storage but automatically locks into a rigid assembly when fully unfolded. The hinge operates by the movement of a locking bar into locking groove(s) via a tensioning mechanism when the hinge components are aligned in the unfolded, extended configuration. The lockable hinges can be used to connect the blade and handle components of a variety of common tools including shovels, saws and the like, and are disclosed and claimed in Applicant's U.S. Pat. No. 6,588,240.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2003Date of Patent: March 28, 2006Inventor: Brent L. Anderson

Patent number: 5026371Abstract: An improved handle for a polypectome snare for use in excising polyps from an internal body cavity. The apparatus generally comprises a radio frequency polypectome snare which includes a hand grip assembly, a flexible tubing assembly capable of fitting within an endoscope, an electrode loop portion and a power supply means. The hand grip assembly is made of molded pieces of inflexible plastic comprising a longitudinal housing portion and a slide member having opposing finger grip members. When the slide member is in its most proximal position, the electrode loop portion is withdrawn into the flexible tubing. As the slide member is advanced toward the distal end of the longitudinal housing, the electrode wires are advanced out of the flexible tubing, forming a loop that can be placed around the stem of a polyp. Once again withdrawing the loop into the end of the flexible tubing while simultaneously applying RF voltage shears the polyp at its base.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 1990Date of Patent: June 25, 1991Assignee: Everest Medical CorporationInventors: Mark A.
