  • Publication number: 20160289927
Abstract: A monitoring system for a machine having a bowl is provided. The monitoring system includes a perception sensor provided in association with the bowl of the machine. The perception sensor is configured to generate a signal indicative of a view of the bowl. The monitoring system also includes a controller coupled to the perception sensor. The controller is configured to receive the signal indicative of the view of the howl from the perception sensor. The controller is configured to determine a level of material within the bowl based on the received signal. The controller is configured to determine a current loading status of the bowl based on the determined level of the material. The controller is also configured to provide an indication of the current loading status.

  • Publication number: 20150159754
Abstract: A generally planar baffle is disclosed. The baffle has an expandable layer coupled to an adhesive layer. The expandable layer has on its external surface a pattern of projections and a pattern of voids relative to the projections, such that the projections define a first thickness of the expandable layer and the voids define a second thickness of the expandable layer, wherein the first thickness is greater than the second thickness.

  • Publication number: 20070283597
Abstract: This invention elevates the midsection of the foot when shoeless, addressing congenital flatness, or lapsing or pronation in the arch. The device, which can be constructed of various materials, does not continue to the metatarsus or heel, and is attached to the foot by lateral straps or stretchable bands, either singular or in two pieces closed by a snap, buckle, velcro or similar fastener, and adding a heel or, ankle strap or band if greater stability is desired. It may be worn inside or over stockings, and feature assorted shapes, textures, coloration, and decoration. The invention can also serve as an orthotic for barefoot runners or dancers by means of longitudinal extension, with openings under the metatarsus and heel so these areas may touch the ground or floor, and employ additional straps or bands. This device is contraindicated as a diagnostic or therapeutic aid, without the intent of medical application.

  • Publication number: 20070287882
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for alleviating negative moods by physically raising the lateral ends of the lips to signal their facial muscles of an elevated position, which information is then conveyed through the nervous system to positivistic centers in the brain, thereby inducing an improved psychodynamic. Various means utilizing noninjurious and nontoxic materials for achieving this effect include hooks that lift the opposing corners of the lips, and are attached to an adjustable headband or earpieces, alternatively a semirigid rod which curves upward, fitting inside the lower lip, with saddles at its ends for elevating the lateral extremities of the lips, additionally a flexible lower tooth covering with upwardly protruding spurs on either side to attain the same purpose. Not an exerciser for the mouth, facial muscles, or neck, this device in its several configurations is contraindicated as a diagnostic or therapeutic aid, without the intent of medical application.

  • Publication number: 20040021517
Abstract: An RF power amplifier linearizer uses a switched distortion power-minimization routine, or simultaneous correlation and power-minimization routines to adjust operational parameters of a vector modulator and a predistortion operator feeding the RF amplifier. The switched power-minimization routine controls the vector modulator, and then adjusts coefficients of the predistorter using the same power minimization routine. The continuous correlation and power minimization routine adjusts the predistortion unit by means of a power minimization unit, and uses a correlator based control mechanism to control the vector modulator simultaneously with the power minimization routine's control of the predistortion unit.
