Abstract: Systems and methods for a single serving beverage preparation cup are provided. The single serving beverage preparation cup may include a plurality of reverse teardrop ribs that may channel water combined with dried ingredients, for example coffee grounds, through the single serving beverage preparation cup. By channeling the combined water and dried ingredients through the single serving beverage preparation cup, the pressure within the single serving beverage preparation cup is reduced, an avenue for extraction is created, varying amounts of dried ingredients can be added, and water may be exposed to a greater proportion of dried ingredients than in conventional systems.

Abstract: A food and beverage cold smoking device includes a sealed a sealed container, an adjustable downstem pipe, an incendiary device, a flavoring agent, and an external pump. The sealed container includes an intake port and an exhaust port. The pipe passes through the intake port and provides a channel for the smoke to travel to reach the container. The incendiary device is coupled to a first end of the pipe. The flavoring agent is burned in the incendiary device and the smoke is pulled through a vacuum into the container via operation of the pump.

Preloaded ingredients contained within the outer housing may be introduced or discharged into the bottle by simply depressing the outer housing over the inner tube when the ridge is aligned with the slot, thereby permitting the ingredients to flow through the apertures of the outer housing and inner tube and into the liquid contents of the bottle. The combined ingredients and liquid within the bottle may subsequently be shaken without fear or risk of leakage or spillage.

Abstract: An interactive bandwidth modeling tool allows a user to estimate the bandwidth requirements in a network for a period of time of interest which may be a plurality of years. The user enters network plant parameters which are used to estimate the bandwidth requirements of the network for a variety of types of signals, including upstream and downstream signals. The estimated bandwidth requirements are displayed on a display in either a graphical form or a histogram form. The user may select to display one or more of the plant parameters simultaneously with the display of the bandwidth requirements.
