  • Publication number: 20230392429
Abstract: A cover deployment system includes a flexible cover configured to span an open top of a trailer, the trailer having a front end, a rear end, and longitudinally extending side walls extending therebetween, bow assemblies connected to the cover, and a cable system including a pair of cables, an electric actuator, a manual actuator, and a differential. The cables extend longitudinally along the longitudinal side of the trailer. Each cable defines a loop supported by a pulley at the front end of the trailer and a pulley at the rear end of the trailer. The remaining bow assemblies are movably attached to the cables. The electric actuator and the manual actuator are operatively connected to a differential positioned between the electric actuator, the manual actuator, and the pulley. The differential is connected and rotates a pulley to move the cables, thereby moving the cover between closed and open positions.

  • Publication number: 20220332377
Abstract: A rolling tarp locking system comprising a bow including a cam plate defining a cam profile having a proximal end and a distal end; and a locking assembly including an arm configured to move between a locked position and an unlocked position, the arm having a follower configured to move relative to the cam profile of cam plate from the proximal end and to the distal end such that when the arm moves from the unlocked position to the locked position the bow is pulled toward the locking assembly to a fixed position.

  • Patent number: 10969188
Abstract: A firearm suppressor configured for coupling to a firearm with its stock barrel bushing removed. The firearm suppressor includes a barrel bushing feature, a recess, and a release. The barrel bushing feature duplicates the barrel bushing of the firearm, which constrains the movement of the barrel of the firearm. The recess is positioned below the barrel bushing and is configured to receive and retain a cap of a recoil spring plug of the firearm. The firearm suppressor is coupled to the firearm when the cap of the recoil plug of the firearm is retained in the recess. The release is configured to press against the recoil spring plug of the firearm. Actuating the release pushes the recoil spring plug of the firearm away from the firearm suppressor, such that the firearm suppressor is removable from the firearm in the same manner as the original barrel bushing.

  • Patent number: 10226736
Abstract: A system for supplying dry air to a fuel tank to remove moisture and inhibit contamination includes a dry air supply assembly having an air compressor and an air dryer configured to remove moisture from air supplied by the air compressor to the air dryer, and includes a fluid pump mounted within the fuel tank above a fuel level, with the fluid pump receiving dried air from the air dryer. A suction line extends from the fluid pump and includes an open end disposed at a bottom of the fuel tank. The fluid pump is adapted to receive dried air from the air dryer as a motive force to draw liquid from the bottom of the tank into the opening and up the suction line to the fluid pump, and discharge liquid from the fluid pump above the fuel level within the fuel tank.

  • Patent number: 8944446
Abstract: A swivel drive system, such as for providing a driving force for a vehicle, comprises multiple drive modules, with each drive module including a plurality of wheel assemblies mounted for rotation relative to an axis of the drive module, with each wheel assembly being separately rotatable relative to a respective axis of the wheel assembly. Simultaneous rotation of the wheel assemblies relative to the axis of the drive module and rotation of each wheel assembly about its own axis generates a driving force for the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 5012769
Abstract: An energy transfer unit comprises an upper wall, a lower wall spaced apart from the upper wall and being substantially parallel thereto, and at least three piston members pivotably mounted between the upper wall and the lower wall forming a chamber therebetween. Each piston member includes a piston face and a first edge. The pistons are disposed between the upper wall and the lower wall whereby the first edge of one piston member is slidably engaged with the face of an adjacent piston member. Preferably four piston members are provided thereby resulting in the compression chamber defining an alternatingly expanding or contracting cube.
