Abstract: A method of Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD simulation for a product including a plurality of individual components, the method comprising creating a library of known components, including their component geometry and modeling properties needed for simulation, the components being individually meshed within the library; using a graphical user interface GUI to select and place a plurality of components from the library in a desired configuration to make up a CFD model of a product; and CFD simulating the model by scheduling a plurality of solvers, each solver modeling a component group comprising part or all of at least one component, to manage the time of action of the solvers and data exchange between the solvers.

Abstract: A window covering specially designed and configured to indoor residential shutters is disclosed. The window cover is deployed and stowed via a spool and provides a user with more control over light transmission, solar transmission and view through properties, as desired. In a preferred embodiment, a rectilinear housing hides the fabric cover in its stowed position and also houses a small electric motor. Also, the fabric covering is provided at a rear to a widow shutter having adjustable slats.

Abstract: An agent-based demand prediction system for generating weather-dependent product demand predictions using agent-based modeling in which the clients for the product are the agents. The system including an analytics module arranged to select and/or generate agent behavior rules based on historical data relating to weather-dependent product acquisition by client agents, a weather module arranged to acquire weather forecasts in real time and to access pre-defined weather event rules and an agent-based simulation module arranged to use the agent behavior rules and weather forecasts to simulate agent behavior and generate product demand predictions. The weather module is arranged to compare the acquired weather forecasts with the pre-defined weather event rules, and trigger a simulation in the agent-based simulation module based on a match between an acquired weather forecast and a pre-defined weather event rule.

Abstract: An environmental sensor system comprises a plurality of sensor clusters. The sensor coupler of each sensor cluster obtains measurements parameters from the sensors, performs processing on the measurements to obtain at least one result, and forwards information from the measurements to the calibrator coordinator. The calibrator coordinator performs processing on the information received from all of the sensor clusters to obtain at least one result, and feeds back the result to the sensor clusters which then assess sensor reliability and accuracy. The first and second results indicate expected parameter values, and each sensor coupler decides whether, and how, to incorporate the measurements of sensors into the first processing based on the expected values. The sensor coupler may calibrate, decommission or replace sensors determined to be unreliable based on the expected values.

Abstract: A product availability tracking and notification system and method is provided that automatically alerts consumers of product availability, such as air travel fares, that is automatically searched after an initial search is performed which meets the criteria of the user. To obtain current price information, internally generated queries and user generated queries that match trips being tracked with corresponding search criteria are provided. In tracking airfares for a trip, applicable taxes and fees are included to provide the consumer an accurate total cost. Notification of current pricing is displayed and communicated to the user once the product is available at a specified target price and after a predetermined time period if the defined target price is not found. Searches and pricing for multiple traveler types and travel date flexibility are provided.
