  • Publication number: 20220354710
Abstract: A durable absorbent pant to be worn/used for managing menstrual flow and/or urinary incontinence is disclosed. The pant may include a crotch gusset with an absorbent assembly. The absorbent assembly may include an absorbent layer and a barrier layer disposed beneath the absorbent layer. The absorbent assembly may further include a liquid impermeable edge sealing structure comprising a liquid impermeable film, having an upper portion affixed to a wearer-facing surface of the absorbent assembly, and a lower portion beneath the absorbent layer. In some examples, the upper portion of the edge sealing structure includes a portion disposed inwardly of any outwardly-lying adjacent wearer-facing fabric surface, by a barrier margin having an average dimension greater than 0 mm. In some examples, the crotch gusset exhibits a maximum Longitudinal Elongation of 25 percent to 100 percent and a Longitudinal Tensile Modulus of 10 gf/mm to 100 gf/mm.
