The surface protection device is defined by a furniture glide including a furniture glide base having an upper surface directable towards the terminal end of the furniture leg and a lower surface interconnected by an outer periphery. A fastener extends from the furniture glide base along an axis and has a first end and a second end receivable in the terminal end of the furniture leg for frictionally connecting the furniture glide base to the furniture leg. A cup has an outer surface and an inner surface defining a cavity for receiving the furniture glide base therein. Matted material is molded into the outer surface of the cup.

The covering includes a central portion having a configuration corresponding to a configuration of the hatch door and a thickness. A flange projects from the central portion and has a thickness less than the thickness of the central portion. The flange movable between a first position wherein the flange lies in a first plane generally parallel to a first surface of the central portion and a second position wherein the flange is generally perpendicular to the first plane and defines a cavity in the covering for receiving the hatch door therein.

Abstract: A multi-layer surface covering includes at least a first and a second layer made of a polyvinyl chloride material, each of the two layers having a different density. One of the two layers includes a pigment such that the layer resembles teak. A surface of the colored layer is at least partly abraded to resemble a wood grain. The surface covering may additionally include grooves cut into the surface to resemble individual wood planks. The grooves additionally provide traction and drainage of liquid from the surface to an edge of the covering.

Abstract: A furniture glide configured to wrap around a base portion of a chair frame is disclosed. The furniture glide is of multi-layer construction. A first layer is flexible and configured to engage the chair frame. A second layer, bonded to the first layer, is cushioned. A third layer is configured too engage the floor and is made of a durable material to handle the wear associated with engaging the floor. Side portions of the first layer wrap around the base portion of the chair to easily attach the furniture glide to the chair.

Abstract: A furniture glide is provided that is receivable on a foot of a piece of furniture. The furniture glide includes a rentention boot including a bottom wall, upper wall and a sidewall that define a cavity for receiving the foot therein. The upper wall has a central opening therethrough that communicates with the cavity. A neck projects from the upper wall and extends about the opening. A slider bonded to the bottom wall of the retention boot to facilitate the sliding of the piece of furniture over a supporting surface such a floor or the like.

The retaining leg moveable between a closed position wherein the terminal end of the retaining leg engages the inner surface of the backing plate and an open position wherein the retaining leg is spaced from the inner surface of the backing plate. The inner surface of the backing plate, the inner surface of the face plate and the inner surface of the upper wall define a cavity for receiving a portion of the sheet.

The wheel has an outer surface and the castor wheel cover includes a floor engaging member having inner and outer surfaces. First and second sidewalls projecting from corresponding first and second side edges of the floor engaging member so as to define a channel therebetween. The channel is adapted for receiving the outer surface of the wheel therein.

Abstract: A door wedge is provided for maintaining a door at a user-desired position. The door wedge includes a base extending along a first axis. The base has upper and lower surfaces and first and second ends. An inclined plate extends along a second axis at a predetermined angle to the first axis. The inclined plate has upper and lower surfaces and first and second ends. The first end of the inclined plate intersects the first end of the base. A hook projects from the inclined plate. The hook has a terminal end vertically spaced from the upper surface of the inclined plate. A pad is affixed to the lower surface of the base.

The flexible conduit includes a generally flat strip extending along an axis and a first plurality of hinges in the strip. Each of the first plurality of hinges is generally parallel to the axis such that the strip is foldable along the first plurality of hinges between a first open configuration and a second closed configuration wherein the strip of material defines the raceway. A second plurality of hinges, spaced along the axis, is also provided in the strip. Each hinge of the second plurality of hinges extends along a corresponding hinge axis generally perpendicular to the axis of the strip such that the strip is foldable along the second plurality of hinges between the first open configuration and a second folded configuration.

Abstract: A floor grid system including a number of interconnectable tiles is provided. The tiles are interconnected with one another to form a floor surface through the use of locking assemblies extending between the tiles. The assemblies can be formed entirely on the tiles, or can include separate connectors engageable with the assemblies on adjacent tiles to interconnect the tiles and form the floor surface.
