A carrier ribbon has a first end and a second end, with the first end connected to the supply spool and the second end connected to the take-up spool. An applicator tip is partially disposed within the housing and includes a platform with a front edge, a rear edge, a first side edge, a second side edge, a top surface, a bottom surface. A first wall is adjacent to the first side edge and a second wall is adjacent to the second side edge. At least one protuberance extends from the applicator tip and is adapted to maintain outer edges of the transfer tape adjacent to the top surface of the platform.

The applicator tip is disposed in a path of a transfer tape that originates from the supply spool and terminates at the return spool. When pressing the application edge on a surface, an application layer of the transfer tape adheres to the surface. The transfer tape dispenser includes a cushion that cushions the pressing of the application edge on the surface. The transfer tape dispenser further includes a slip clutch mechanism for providing slipping of the supply spool relative to the rotation of the return spool, when necessary, to maintain a desired tension in the correction transfer tape.

A carrier ribbon has a first end wound about the supply spool and a second end wound about the take-up spool. An applicator tip is at least partially disposed within the housing and includes a platform with a front edge, a rear edge, a first side edge, a second side edge, a top surface and a bottom surface. A first wall and a second wall extend up from the platform. The carrier ribbon is disposed on the top surface, around the front edge, and on the bottom surface between the first side edge and the second side edge. The platform includes a slot that defines a first leg and a second. A first post extends laterally out from the first side edge, and a second post extending laterally out from the second side edge, the first post and the second post being rotatably disposed within the receiving holes of the housing.

Abstract: A writing instrument having a substantially tubular body including a first and second end and a writing tip associated with the first end. The writing instrument includes a receptacle integrally formed within the second end and having a retaining portion to engage a removable auxiliary module including a securing portion, the removable auxiliary module adapted to be secured within the receptacle by the cooperation of the retaining portion and the securing portion. The writing instrument further includes an auxiliary module cap adapted to engage both the second end adjacent to the retaining and securing portions and the first end adjacent to the writing tip.

Abstract: A marking instrument includes a body formed with a first end and a second end and sealed at the second end to define a fluid reservoir. The marking instrument includes a tip assembly positioned at the first end having a rigid nib with a fluid path formed longitudinally therethrough. The rigid nib has a first end forming a first spreader surface and a second end adjacent to the fluid reservoir and cooperates with a shiftable valve positioned within the fluid path. The shiftable valve includes a valve actuator having a contact surface position substantially adjacent to the first spreader surface. The tip assembly may further include an adjustable nib having a second spreader surface adapted to be positioned adjacent the first spreader surface to form a composite spreader surface.

Abstract: A desk arrangement is provided which includes freestanding furniture units, namely, a stationary cabinet and a movable table. While the movable table is movable relative to the cabinet, the cabinet and table are connected together by an intermediate link top which permits relative movement therebetween but interconnects the cabinet and table to define a single interconnected furniture unit. The link top is both slidable and pivotable relative to the cabinet and table to permit sliding and pivoting of the table between a closed position directly adjacent to the cabinet and an open position spaced outwardly therefrom. The link top can define an auxiliary worksurface and also defines a bridge between the cabinet and table to which cabling can be connected. This arrangement thereby permits flexible repositioning of the table while also permitting power and/or communications cabling to be routed therebetween.

Abstract: A desk or worksurface arrangement is provided which has a cable management slot along a back edge of the worksurface wherein removable end caps enclose the opposite ends of the slot. The caps retain cabling within the cable management slot but are removable without tools to permit the cabling to be slid out of the slot or past horizontally to an adjacent desk. The end caps may also be fixedly attached to a vertical storage unit to connect the vertical storage unit to the top of the desk arrangement while permitting the vertical storage unit to be removed from the desk without requiring tools.

Abstract: A universal wall support or frame member is provided which is used to connect laterally spaced apart side walls of a file cabinet or other type of storage cabinet. The universal wall support includes opposite end sections which are telescopingly engaged together so that the wall support may be extended to any desired length and thereafter fixed at a set length such that the universal wall support is usable for different size cabinet constructions. The opposite end sections define a first range of cabinet sizes, and the universal wall support may include an intermediate extender section which slidably joins opposite end sections together so that the universal wall support defines a second range of cabinet sizes. The opposite end sections further include support flanges for supporting the side walls, particularly those made of wood, to further strengthen the file cabinet.

Abstract: A laptop computer desk includes an interior storage compartment which is defined below worksurface level and has a triangular shape to accommodate a laptop computer therein. The storage compartment is enclosed by a front door and top doors wherein the front door folds down to define a wrist rest while the top doors fold over onto the work surface to define blotters or writing areas adjacent to the storage compartment. The interior of the storage compartment includes a receptacle unit for power and/or communication outlets, and flexible fabric divider walls which define interior compartments for storing cables.
