    Abstract: A two-fluted countersink tool for countersinking holes comprising a holder and removable cutting inserts. The cutting holder having a body with two portions removed to define a first and second pocket. Each insert has first and second ends, first and second lateral surfaces, first, second and third top surfaces and a bottom surface. The cutting surface of each cutting insert extends from an edge of the third top surface. The cutting surface has a first cutting edge and a second cutting edge.The cutting inserts are positioned inside the pockets and are attached to the holder such that the cutting edge remains as close as possible to the centerline of the countersink tool.
